November Update

This update has a lot going on, and we've put a lot of thought and work into this. Enjoy!

Frog Collections

We've partnered with frog.family to bring some adorable collectible frogs to the bot! You can collect up to 50 unique frogs just by running commands in any category! You'll have a slight chance to get a new one randomly and a link to see your entire collection on our site! See if you can be one of the first to collect them all, and then visit the creator's website to learn more about the frog family!

Developer Message System

Many of you have communicated that it's frustrating not to know when there's an update or important announcement, and you don't necessarily want to check our support server for this info constantly. So we developed a system where we can set a message, and the bot will let you know there's a message to read from us! A lot of you probably got to these patch notes through this message system.

Quick Selling

We've implemented quick sell into the pls sell command for those who don't care about collecting things or want to get some quick cash while grinding. If you run pls sell with no arguments, it'll bring up the option to sell ALL of your sellable items at once for a giant lump sum. Be sure you want to go through with it, as once you confirm, it's all sold! Anything you have in your showcase will not be sold btw.

Player Title Switching

Titles have been a reward for leveling for as long as leveling has existed, but you've always had to have your most recent unlock shown. Now, you can use the pls title command to select which title you want to display, AND each badge name has a title you can show too!

New Endgame System

Prestige was once hard. Getting to Prestige ten was nearly unheard of by anyone. However, due to inflation and the ability to trade items, it's become a joke and primarily just a way to grind bank space. So we've made a few changes:

- Prestige has an inventory requirement now

- You must have a particular value of items in your inventory at the time of prestiging to get around the "trade exploit" people have been doing for years now.

- The level and coin requirements have grown with inflation

- Prestige no longer gives loot boxes. Instead, it gives prestige coins.

- Prestige coin is just the multi boost you got after prestiging, but now you can use it whenever you want. In addition, the number of prestige coins you get goes up the more you Prestige.

- Prestige packs replace the items you'd get before after Prestige, a starter kit of sorts.

But what about all those people who already are Prestige 20+? What can they do now? Once you've reached a certain prestige level, there is nothing left to grind for but collecting things. Well, not anymore.

- A new endgame grind: Omega level

- Omega is like Prestige, but much more challenging and with different perks for doing it.

- Omega will wipe even prestige levels and requires prestige levels and a large sum of coins to obtain. It also wipes expanded bank space (such as banknotes)

- Each omega level will increase your bank and wallet cap, along with your gamble amount cap. While this might not seem worthwhile to everyone, Omega is not meant to be for anyone other than those at the complete endgame.

- Omega has its own new set of badges, ranging from 1 to 25. It'll be shown on your profile and in the compare command, and they look SWEET.

Omega levels will not be obtainable for a large percentage of the community, and that's the point. It's a thing to grind for when you're done with everything else, rewarding you with something that only benefits the richest of the rich at the endgame. Some users will find the first Omega to be perfectly obtainable and then start getting much harder. Will anyone go to 25? It'll take you a lot of grinding, and we're excited to see who does it first. Double XP on Weekends

As an incentive for people grinding on weekends, we now give double XP on Saturday and Sunday (EST). Starting next week, you'll get a message while grinding that double XP just started to let you know when it's active. (Only will appear when you're running commands, and it'll be in the chat). Since the update today is on a Sunday, enjoy double XP until midnight EST tonight!

Rob Changes

A substantial portion of users in our survey expressed that robbing is a significant pain point in the bot for them. I love robbing people, but I can understand the frustration of someone joining your server with 500 coins and robbing you for hundreds of millions over and over before you get back from your toilet break, so we've made some balancing changes that introduce some risks for the robber.

- You can now only steal 10x what you have in YOUR pocket. So if you rob someone with 5000 coins in your pocket, the max you can steal is 50k.

- The cooldown preventing the same person from being chain robbed moved from 2 minutes to 10 minutes

- The min to steal now is 5k, raised due to inflation since the last raise.

Badge Progress

We added a ' pls badges ' command to help people know how close they are to obtaining a badge. This command will show each available badge and your progress on it!

Crafting System (Beta)

We added a new pls craft command, along with a new item called Duct Tape. There are three things currently craftable, and if the community enjoys this feature, we'll add more! Duct tape is needed for every craft and can only be found while grinding or by trading with others who have it.

Coupon Change

Coupons have been annoying people buying things since they were added, so we've changed how they work. If you want to use a coupon, you must pass the coupon flag to the bot during a purchase. pls buy pepecrown --coupon. This will give you the regular coupon prompt. If you have a coupon in your inventory, the bot will let you know while making purchases at the bottom of the successful purchase embed in a much less annoying way.

Work was Fixed

There's been a large number of bugs in work for a while now, and while they're not ALL gone (probably, haha), we've fixed a few bigger ones. The prominent one people have noticed was that your daily worked hours NEVER reset, and for some people, it was literally in the thousands for a single "day." This also prevents lots of people from being fired for NOT working the required amount. This means a lot of you will get fired if you don't work the daily needed hours. To give you a little time to adjust, we won't be firing anyone for the first day or two, so you can make sure you read this and work your hours.

- Multiple work issues fixed

- Workday now works like daily, resets at 00:00 UTC. You are fired if you don't work the required amount.

- Changed how work info looks

- Calling in sick for work now resets after changing jobs

- We will not fire people for the first day or two of this update for not working enough daily as a short adjustment period.

Legacy Stats View

If you played and gambled before April 2021, you'll have a new (old?) fun thing to see in your profile. Select the view "legacy stats"! This section may grow if we depreciate other stuff in the future.

Item Net Worth and Selling

There's always been confusion in how we calculate net worth for items that aren't sellable or purchasable. To make this clearer, nearly every item with a "hidden" net worth has had its net worth set to 100k. While this will be a bummer for some people who had an absurd amount of things worth billions, it brings people's net worth closer to actual values. In addition, it helps balance the new item worth in prestiging. Most people will see their net worths drop due to this change; this is not a bug.

For selling, we want people to get a little more value out of the things that aren't sellables. So we've changed the sell value of items that can be sold and aren't sellables or loot boxes to (cost / 5) compared to the old (cost / 10). Lootboxes sell worth is now somewhere in the middle of their possible coin range (meaning it's valid to sell it if you think you'll get a terrible item or low coins)

New Currency Values

We've made some tweaks to some base values that you've grown used to.

- Max item stack: 150k -> 250k

- Max bank space cap: 2.5b -> 3b

- Max slots amount: 1k -> 2k

- Minimum bet amount: 50 -> 500

Keep in mind, as said above, bank space cap, wallet space cap (1b), and MAX bet amount now can grow with your omega level as well. For those who are interested, here are the (subject to change) values on how those grow:

- Wallet cap formula: 1_000_000_000 + (250_000_000 * omega)

- Bank cap formula: 3_000_000_000 + (500_000_000 * omega)

- Bet cap formula: 250_000 + (25_000 * omega)

Other New Things

- Pet command no longer has trivia as a minigame

- Packs now have the fancy opening that loot boxes have

- Coinbombs now use buttons

- Meme command now uses buttons, so you don't have to keep running the command over and over

- Work is now part of vacation costs/safety

- What was the emoji minigame is now much easier to use

- Added basketball minigame

- Updated some dialogue in some places to keep things fresh

- You can now use multiple banknotes without a prompt: pls use banknote 4

- Daily boxes now stack their duration (open 3, get 30 minutes of boost)

- Added "who asked" and garage to search, and arson to crime

- Drop history now shows amount sold

- Increased the amount of bank space you get from leveling AND prestiging, everyone should see a bump in bank space right off the bat

- Updated some drop times for the future

- Removed hentai command; we no longer have access to that API. Sorry!

- Pun command temporarily removed, will be back in a future update

- Candy pays out more now when used

- taxcalc was moved to the currency category

- New "new badge" message

- New pls shop <item> ui, including buttons for lootboxes/packs to show possible items
