Hello Dank Memer community!

As many of you know, since August, this bot has changed to be almost unrecognizable of it's former self for better or worse. Whether it be by new things we add, things we've had to remove due to third party decisions, or the massive overhaul of our rewrite, the bot is nothing like it was just a year ago. We are continuing that trend today.

For years, we have been using THE generic Pepe image as our avatar. While this has been widely recognized by our community and has served us well, we felt it was time for a change. We wanted to separate ourselves from relying on other people's art and create something that is more representative of our bot.

To accomplish this, we worked with our amazing artist, Bunny, who has created custom Pepe art just for us. This new art is not only visually stunning, but it also truly represents the spirit and personality of Dank Memer. It's been a decision we've been considering for years, and we are thrilled to finally bring it to fruition.

We understand that change can be difficult and that some of you may be attached to the old avatar. But we hope that you will come to love the new one as much as we do. We put a lot of thought and care into this decision, and we believe that it will help us to continue to grow and evolve as a community.

You will see us slowly change "default" pepe to our new art on all our services and third party sites over the next couple of weeks, but the bot avatar is live now! Go check it out!
