Skeleton Keys

TDLR Skeletons keys are untradable items that can be used to open chests with some RNG on what chest you'll get. Key Use Command View How do I get a key You get keys from fishing, they're fairly rare but always a fun find! What is the loot from it The key picks a random chest to pull from. Each chest has a different loot table. Generally it's fishing gear, but not always! Should I use my key Up to you! You can use them in a pinch for some rewarding fishing gear, or you can save them for future updates when new chests get released with new contents! Misc The key is untrade-able The chest loot tables aren't CURRENTLY public, only for lack of time to implement this for launch We plan on semi-regularly adding new chests to spice things up There is a knockout system for rewards that apply. This means if you have a title (or similar) already, it will not show up again.

Fish Boosts

TLDR You can spend tokens, coins, and gems to buy bundles of boosts for fishing. Some are timed boosts, some are things like bait/tools. They rotate every 6 hours and you can only have one purchased boost bundle active at a time. Boosts command view Why? If you're wanting to boost your fishing experience, you can pay for a boost bundle. These are a way to give yourself an individual boost for a certain amount of time. Cost? The cost is different per bundle, and the bundles are pre-decided by developers and will rotate randomly. You can pay gems, coins, or tokens for all boosts. If you feel a boost is over or underpriced, let us know and we'll look at it in our next balance pass! Rotation The boosts will rotate every few hours or when you purchase one, which ever is first. Even if you have an active boost and cannot buy the new one, it will still rotate on schedule. Limits You can only have one active at a time! The time one lasts is until the highest timer in a bundle is done. So if we introduce a bundle with a 2h chroma multiplier and a 5h fish xp boost, the next bundle will not be purchasable for 5 hours. Feedback If you'd like to request a certain length of time of combination of boosts/fishing gear, let us know on reddit and we'd be happy to consider it!

Freemium Rewards

Accessibility TLDR: Freemium is a reward you can claim every 6 hours that is meant to replace voting as a concept. You cannot use alts, the loot table is random, and the ad revenue funds free content updates. Freemium is the new kid on the block as far as free rewards go. Visit every 6 hours to get some REALLY decent rewards that will consistently help your gameplay go smoother. There is a FAQ section at the bottom of this article, please check there before visiting support about this system. How it works Step one You visit dankmemer.lol/freemium and read the content on the page to make sure you understand. Step two The first cards are ALWAYS the same for everyone, and you will get all 3 of these. You can hit the "next" button. Step three Click or tap the 3 cards to turn them over and reveal the randomly chosen rewards. Decide which you want the most and hit the select button. Step three (mega reward mode) If you like more than 1, you can watch a 35 second ad to select another. You can do this two times to get all 3 rewards. If a video doesn't play, no worries. The 35 second timer will continue as long as you stay on this page. Step four Hit the "next" button. As long as cloudflare doesn't think you're a bot, you'll get the rewards sent to you on the bot! Step five Go enjoy your rewards, and come back in 6 hours. Streaks Every visit adds to your streak. Each streak number adds 0.02% to your luck when drawing random cards This resets if you go 18 hours between claims. See the FAQ for more info on why we chose these values. This is NOT frozen by vacation, streak freeze, or literally anything else. This is on purpose. Thing you need to know You cannot use alts on this. We are able to see people using alts for this, fairly easily Like most modern websites, we compare basic device/network data for anti-fraud and security practices. We do not AUTOMATICALLY issue bans for this, but if and when we do check things, there are no warnings given. Random rewards cannot be rerolled, or skipped To get new random rewards, you need to claim what is there and visit again after your next cooldown. You cannot use a VPN or Adblocker The point of this page is to help us generate revenue. These two things are very handy and we recommend them in general, but to make this page worthwhile in any meaningful way, we detect and prevent you from using our page when you use these things. Bug Reporting Because every browser and device can have different behaviors, some things might look off or not work as intended. Report this! Not seeing any ads is NOT a bug, sometimes the advertisers aren't bidding on slots. Read the help article on reporting bugs so we can get this fixed ASAP for you Please include your browser, device, and any other helpful information when reporting bugs about the website FAQ "Why so many ads?" A) You might be surprised to hear that it takes THOUSANDS of ad impressions to even make pennies. We want to make sure this is helping fund development, so we added a fair amount of ads and tried to make them as non-intrusive as possible. We know you saw tons of ads on top.gg and other similar sites, but this time, the revenue goes to us instead of a third party. "What type of content does this fund?" A) Expensive things to make such as adventures, or entire new grind commands. "When will the rewards change?" A) Watch for changelogs, we'll always add any changes there will a new snapshot of the full loot table. We also plan to eventually have the loot table shown directly on the page, in the near future. "How do I get better rewards?" A) Upkeep a streak! The luck multiplier is pretty potent, which will be easier shown once we have a built in page viewable loot table. Otherwise, the randomly rolled things are pure RNG past that. "Why are streaks so difficult?" A) Due to how luck works, an insanely high streak would all but guarantee that eventually only amazing things would be rolled and the "less" amazing things would be the rare things. Because this is an entirely FREE and EASY way to get dope rewards, the streak is meant as a benefit to consistently supporting, but is not meant to be easy. If we ever do make it easier, it will be at the cost of making streaks less potent in multiplying the chances for good rewards. Beware what you wish for! "Why does it say I'm using a VPN when I'm not?" A) We check for VPNs, proxies, TOR nodes, and private relays. Apple often has people on private relays, you can look that up if you're experiencing this on apple device. If you're POSITIVE that you're not using any of the above, feel free to make a bug report and mention your device and browser and we'll look into it. "Why doesn't this count as a vote?" A) Because it's not a vote! Those votes are for getting on the front page of bot lists. This is an entirely new system that is straight up ads in exchange for currency. As per the changelog introducing freemium rewards, vote rewards are changing to accommodate the current situation. "Why is it called Freemium?" A) Everything needs a catchy name? And the level of perks we're giving you is something some games would require a premium subscription for, but they're FREE! So our catchy name, is Freemium. "Will this get updates?" A) Yes! We will add features, QoL changes, and more to freemium going forward as long as there is interest for it! We already have an internal list of future ideas to pull from.

How to Report a Bug

Sometimes while using the bot you might encounter an error or something not working the way it is intended. Even if it seems minor or unimportant, bugs can affect the user experience and we want to fix them. If people don’t report, we don’t always know there is a problem, so you are helping us and other users when you report a bug. If you think you've found a bug to report, follow the steps below. 1. Verify The first thing to do is to try to make sure it is a bug. If it is a one-time “something went wrong” error or the basic interaction lock that can happen when you try to run two commands at once, it is probably not a bug to report. On the other hand, if you find you are missing items or coins or a command is giving an error every time you use it, then it is worth checking further. Before you report: Check your /currencylog or /fish log to see if it shows something you missed. Use the /notifications view command to see any recent notifications from the bot. Often, missing coins were robbed, and you had your DMs closed, or items were lost to death. Both will show in /notifications view so you can confirm. Search the changelogs to see if there is any mention of the bug being a new feature. Check the #Bot-News channel in the Support Server for announcements about any known issues. If you check everything and still believe your issue is a bug, then it is probably something you should report. If you still aren’t sure, you can ask support staff for a second opinion. Note If the bug you've found is something that duplicates coins/items or is some kind of exploit, sharing it or using it is against bot rules, and you should report it immediately instead of continuing to test it. 2. Gather Info The next step for reporting a bug is to gather all the info you can to help your report. The main details the development team might need to know are: What happened?** - Some bugs can be caused by doing commands in a certain order. Take a minute to think about the buttons you pressed and any commands you did when you found the bug. For example, did you receive a market acceptance the moment the button errored? Does it only happen at the start of the hour? It may not seem related or important to you, but it can be useful. What other users (if any) were involved?** - If the bug you experienced involved other users, gather their user IDs for the bug report so they can be contacted if needed or so the interactions can be found in your command history. Save Evidence** - If possible, take screenshots or videos of what you experienced and include them in your report. This can help verify your bug report, and it offers another way for the development team to figure out what happened. 3. Report To report the bug, join the Dank Memer Support Server and go to the #report-bugs channel. In the channel, type the /bugreport command and enter the following info: Description:** Explain the bug you experienced. Include any information you think may be important, mention any users that were involved, and give details so the entire situation is explained. Also, explain anything you did to verify the bug or try to fix it, like checking currencylog or refreshing Discord. Example: I was feeding my pet turtle, and every time I pressed the walk button, nothing happened. It didn’t respond at all or even give an interaction error. It worked fine for my other pets. I tried restarting Discord, and I tried waiting 10-20 minutes, but it still wouldn't work Reproduction:** This is a short explanation that tells the buttons you pushed or commands you used when the bug happened. The goal is to explain what you did when you experienced the bug so someone else could try to do it and experience the same thing. Example: Do /pets care, and care for your pet fox, then try to care for your turtle, but walking won’t work. I did feed, water, and fetch first on both, then walk, but it didn’t work on my turtle. Platform:** Pick which platform or type of device you are using Discord on. Images:** Attach any images or videos you have as proof. If the image option gives an error, you can upload the images to a website like imgur.com and include the link for them in the description of your bug. Once you are sure all the information is correct and easy to understand, submit the command, and you’ll see an ephemeral message (a message only you can see) that confirms your bug was reported. If the developers need more information to help fix the bug, they’ll reach out to you with questions, but you won’t receive a notice if the bug is fixed in most circumstances. If you run into any trouble while using the bot or reporting a bug, the staff in the support server are happy to help!

Fishing Leaderboards

Accessibility TLDR: Every day, three fishing creatures, an NPC, and a location are randomly chosen for users to compete against each other on. Users can see which options are chosen by viewing the fishing-leaderboards channel in DMC or through the /fish leaderboard command. Scores on each leaderboard are made up of a mix of data, including things like the number of fish caught, the number of variants caught, the size of the creatures, and more. The top user on each leaderboard at the end of the day receives fishing boosts and a special title. The /fish leaderboard command gives you a chance to compete against other users while fishing. Every day, there is a leaderboard for one location, one NPC, and three fish that you can compete to be #1 on. The leaderboard choices for the day are announced in the #fishing-leaderboards channel in the Dank Memer Community Server and are visible in the /fish leaderboard command. The fish leaderboard command. The scores on the leaderboard can be hard to understand at first since they are not purely based on the time spent with an NPC or the number of fish caught, and many details can factor into your ranking. For the Creature Leaderboards, the scores factor in the total number you caught, the number of high-quality variants, and who caught the biggest one. The biggest catch of the day for a creature has a major impact on the score, and you could be beaten by someone who caught fewer fish if they have the largest catch of the day. For the Location Leaderboard, the scores are based on your total catches at a location for the day, and it factors in the number of bosses and variants you caught as well. So if you catch more fish but someone else catches more bosses, they could have a higher score on the location leaderboard than you. The location scores also take into account who caught the biggest fish that day at that location, and catching the biggest fish can give you a big advantage. For the NPC Leaderboards, the scores are based on your total reputation for the NPC as well as how many interactions or visits you’ve had with them during the day. Your overall reputation with the NPC makes a huge impact on your score, so if an NPC hates you, you can lose even if you have more interactions than anyone else. You can check your progress throughout the day with the /fish leaderboard command, and scores are updated every hour. If you are struggling, remember to look for skills you can upgrade to help you advance in the rankings, or try using something like Weighted Bait to help you catch heavier creatures. The winner each day will receive a DM announcing they’ve won, fishing boosts for the next 24 hours, and a special title. All rewards are given instantly, so you don’t have to claim anything.

Fishing Season Pass

Accessibility TLDR: The fishing Season Pass found in /fish season is an opportunity to earn more rewards while you fish. There is a free track of rewards and a premium track you can purchase access to with gems. You level up in the Season Pass by fishing, and each creature you catch gives you XP toward the pass. When you unlock a reward, click the claim button on /fish season to receive it. Every few months a new season pass will be released, and the old pass will be removed for everyone except people who purchased the premium pass for it. The Fish Season Pass offers an exciting series of rewards you can earn, and every few months another Season Pass will be released with new rewards to unlock, so you’ll never run out. While a Season Pass is available, you can earn XP toward it by fishing and catching creatures. Every basic creature you catch gives 1 XP toward the Season Pass, but event creatures, variants, and bosses give even more. The Season Pass rewards often include tons of useful loot, such as fishing tools, baits, Fish Tokens, Skin Fragments, skins, items, multipliers, coins, and more. As you unlock rewards, you can claim them with a button on the /fish season embed, so things like multipliers can be activated when you want them instead of instantly applied. You can view the current Season Pass of rewards at any time with the /fish season command. Fish season, the Season of the Frozen Heart. The free track of rewards is available to everyone until the end date listed on /fish season, so everyone has a few months to earn as many rewards as they can before the pass is gone. If you want to level up quickly, make sure to use tools that help you catch several creatures at once and try to catch as many event fish as you can when an event happens. Once the end date on the pass is over, the free pass will be removed and a new season pass will be released. Once a season pass is gone, only people who purchased the Season Premium Pass will be able to continue leveling up and earning rewards. Season Premium Pass The Season Premium Pass offers 100 tiers of rewards to unlock on top of the regular rewards given in the free pass, so you get everything shown in the Season Pass and are earning non-stop while fishing. Anyone who buys the Season Premium Pass can also continue working on unlocking the rewards even after the end date for the season, so you don’t have to rush to reach the top tier. To purchase the Season’s Premium Pass, click the upgrade button on the /fish season command or select the Season Pass in the gem shop. Season Pass upgrade options. There are two versions of the Season Premium Pass you can purchase. The basic Season Premium Pass gives you access to earn rewards from both the free and premium track of rewards, and you have unlimited time to complete the season. The Season Premium Pass+ version has an added bonus that instantly unlocks the next 25 tiers of your Season Pass, so if you are tier 12, you’d increase to tier 37, and all rewards from tier 13-37 would be available for you to claim instantly. All you have to do to receive your rewards after buying the Premium+ pass is to click the “claim it” button on /fish season. You can upgrade your Season Pass at any time while the season is still available, so you don’t have to decide immediately if you want to upgrade or not. If you purchase the basic Season Premium Pass and decide later you want the free 25 tiers, you can upgrade from the basic Premium to Premium+. You won’t be able to purchase the Season Premium Pass or upgrade your pass once the season ends, so make sure to purchase it before the end date on /fish season if you are interested. If you are a premium subscriber on the website or Patreon, remember you get 10% more gems with every gem purchase from the Dank Memer Store, giving you extra to put toward the Season Premium Pass if you wish.

Random Timed Fishing Events

Accessibility TLDR; Fishing has events that modify gameplay. They're not on strict schedules and are subject to when the developers plan them. They range from 2x tokens when selling to no baits breaking and more. Fishing has so many potential gameplay features modifying gameplay, and this is yet another. At random times or dates, there might be an active event. You will only know about it in advance if a developer has announced it. This system aims to add some randomness and fun events to fishing, and at launch there are a ton of possibilities for events, with more coming soon. What is it? Each event does a different thing. In this section, we'll list all their different modifiers. Token Cloning Experiment During this event, all fish sold for tokens have a 2x modifier on the tokens you get from selling. This DOES stack with skills that modify token profit. Toolnacity During this event, tools will be unable to break. Meaning you only need the one tool you have until the event is over, fish your heart out with that cute lil harpoon. Baits Baits Baits Similar to Toolnacity, during this event baits are unable to break. Prismatic who? Limited Time Portals While this event is active, so are any limited-time locations! Miss that old crypt keeper's pond? Well look out for it during this rare, but worthwhile, random event. Idle Crack While the idle crack event is running, your idle machine attempts to make catches at 2x the frequency that you have unlocked. Think idle fishing is OP? Just wait till you try it with this! NPC Space Time Rift The NPCs somehow fell into a time space rift, and during this event they're all available at every location! Clear Waters During the Clear Waters event, each successful finishing minigame will have three possible shadows to catch instead of the standard one, and every user will be able to see the shadow outlines of the creatures available rather than a generic shadow. Anything that isn't a creature (like seaweed) will still be the generic shadow. Crazy Chromas While the Crazy Chroma event is ongoing, you will have a 2x chance for a chroma variant to spawn while fishing. This stacks with chroma boosts from baits and skills also! Pass Cheesing While the Pass Cheesing event is ongoing, you will have 2x fishing season xp! Speed Fishing While the Speed Fishing event is ongoing, your cooldown for fishing is 5 seconds! Instant Travel While the Instant Travel event is ongoing, any travel you want to do is instantly completed! Quality Time While the Quality Time event is ongoing, you will only catch high quality fish if possible! This event also overrides things that don't normally grant you high quality catches, including tools and skills. Lucky Caster When in the fishing mini-game, there is a 100% chance for a fish to spawn directly under your tool. If there's more than one creature/shadow, there will be one randomly chosen to be under the tool while the other is normally placed. Why so random? You might be wondering why there's no advanced schedule. That's because we want this system to be used (sometimes) as a way to surprise players who are casually grinding. Luckily, we'll (often) announce upcoming or ongoing events so everyone can hop in and participate. How do I know what event is running? In the menu for /fish catch where you see your bait/location/bucket space, if there is an active event running, you'll see it to the right of the bucket space section (on pc). The Complete Fishing Tutorial

Accessibility TLDR: The /fish catch command can be used to select equipment and locations for fishing or to begin fishing. When fishing, move your tool to the shadow you want to catch and avoid any mines. You can view, sell, and manage the creatures you’ve caught with /fish buckets. You have limited bucket space, but you can increase space and unlock bucket slots with /fish skills. Earn points for upgrading fish skills by completing Skill Challenges found in the /fish guide. The fish guide also has useful info about creatures you can catch, NPCs, and locations. Display your favorite fish in your /fish tank and add decorations to make it stand out. You can earn rewards from the Season Pass available in /fish season or purchase fishing-related items in the /fish shop. Compete against others and try to be number one on the daily /fish leaderboard. The fishing command is an expansive command with tons of features. It has multiple types of tools, baits, and locations to explore, a personal guidebook filled with resources and your fishing stats, skill challenges and upgrades, daily competitions, NPCs who visit while you fish, and more! The easiest way to get into the new command is to start fishing and complete the interactive tutorial, so when you’re ready to begin, try /fish catch to get started. If there is something you are confused about, you can find more details about every aspect of the fishing system below. Fishing Baits and Tools The tools and baits with the fishing command differ from other items you’ll find in Dank Memer and do not appear in your normal /inventory. You can read more about why fishing-related items are special here, but the biggest reason for the change is that it gives us way more possibilities for the features we can add. You can view your fishing equipment in your /fish guide or with the /fish catch command. If you use /fish catch, you can choose your equipment and location and immediately start fishing. The basic fish catch embed. By default, everyone has the bare hand “tool” to use, but it cannot use bait or catch bosses. You can unlock more tools and different baits by finding them as rewards in other places around the bot, like the fish season pass. As you look at your tools in the /fish catch equipment menu, you'll notice each tool has some positive buffs that give you a boost and a few negatives to consider. Review each tool trait carefully before fishing to make sure it will work for what you want to catch. Each bait and tool has a limited number of uses except the bare hand. All other tools lose some durability every time you fish, while baits lose durability only when you catch something because of the bait. Some tools can be used to catch items, bosses, and even multiple fish at a time, and the various baits offer special effects to enhance your fishing. Sometimes, there may also be Random Timed Fishing Events. When one is available, you will see it mentioned on the /fish catch embed before you begin fishing. Fishing Locations and NPCs After selecting your equipment, decide where you want to fish. Each location has different creatures to catch and NPCs to meet, but some locations are only available for a limited time. Traveling to different locations takes time, but you can shorten the wait by upgrading some /fish skills. Traveling to a new location. You can also fast-travel by using gems to arrive instantly or press the cancel button to return to your previous location to fish. If you want to catch every possible fish, make sure to check out all locations while they are available. Once you visit a location, you’ll unlock a page for it in your /fish guide, where you can see the possible creatures and NPCs you can encounter there. NPCs will only be in one location per day, so if you’re looking for a specific character, make sure to choose your fishing location wisely. When an NPC visits, they may offer you a gift, ask you to trade, assign you a task, give you advice, and more. Zara Grey offering a trade. If an NPC likes you, they will visit more often and offer better rewards during their visits. If you don’t like what they have to offer, you can decline their request or ignore the trade. Use the NPC pages in /fish guide to see where they might be and how they feel about you. Read more about the NPCs in the fishing NPC tutorial. Catching Creatures Once you’ve selected your equipment and arrived at your location, it’s time to fish! When fishing, you’ll see one or more dark shadows in the water. These can be creatures to catch, items, or dangerous mines! Fish catch mini-game. Use the arrows to navigate your tool to the shadow you want to catch, and avoid going over any mines! If you go over a mine, you’ll end the turn. The mine will damage any fishing tools you use except your bare hand, making your tools break sooner. As you begin catching different creatures, you’ll notice your bucket space under the fishing game will begin to fill up. Fishing creatures do not go to your regular inventory. Instead, they go into special fish buckets. You have limited bucket storage space, and depending on which tool you are fishing with, your bucket(s) can fill up quickly. Full bucket notice. When your bucket is full, you can continue fishing for XP, but you won’t be able to keep any of the creatures you catch until you make space in your bucket. Managing Buckets and Selling Fish Every user starts with one bucket and two bucket slots by default. To unlock more bucket slots, you must unlock the Storage Specialist trait in /fish skills. There are five possible bucket slots you can unlock through skills and a sixth optional bucket slot you can unlock for a short time with gems. You can find a variety of buckets to unlock in the gem shop, fishing shop, season pass rewards, and other areas in the bot. Each bucket has a different capacity, but you can increase a bucket’s storage with skills. To view your bucket slots, buckets, and the creatures they hold, use the /fish buckets command. From this command, you can organize, sell, and even rename your fish. You can also change which bucket you have equipped or lock a bucket to protect the fish inside from being sold. Viewing your fish buckets. Viewing your fish buckets. When you sell fish, you’ll be given the option to sell them for coins or Fish Tokens. Some fish are worth more coins or Fish Tokens than others. To make the most money, pick and choose which fish you sell for tokens and which for coins. You’ll want to trade at least some fish for Fish Tokens so you can purchase fishing-related items from the /fish shop. If you want to keep track of all of the creatures you capture and sell, you can see them in /fish log. For more information about how buckets and bucket slots work and detailed instructions on selecting only a portion of your creatures to sell, check out the Managing Buckets and Fish Tutorial. The Fishing Shop Once you earn some Fish Tokens by selling your fish, you can purchase fish-related items and supplies in the /fish shop. The shop often has baits, tools, fish tank decorations, buckets, and more. The fishing shop Some items in the fishing shop won’t unlock until you become better friends with a specific NPC. If you want to unlock an item that is blocked by an NPC, try visiting a location the NPC likes and make sure to be nice to them! Being nice and helping an NPC will increase your reputation. Other items in the fish shop require you to unlock the Shop Keeper trait in /fish skills. There are also some traits that help you lower the price of items in the fishing shop. If you need more Fish Tokens, you can earn extra from the fish season pass or fishing adventure. Fish Season Pass Every creature you catch while fishing gives XP, but the XP is not for the regular leveling system in Dank Memer. You do get XP for regular leveling when running fishing commands, but the XP you receive for each creature you catch goes toward special fishing rewards called the Season Pass. You can view the current season pass rewards with the /fish season command. Fish season, the Season of the Frozen Heart. The current fishing season pass is the “Season of the Booty.” While completing tiers, you can earn fishing tools, baits, Fish Tokens, Skin Fragments, seasonal skins and items, multipliers, coins, and more. The free track of rewards is available to anyone until the end date listed on /fish season, but if you want more time and rewards, you can upgrade your pass to the Season Premium Pass. The Season Pass offers 100 tiers of rewards, so you can earn nonstop while fishing. Anyone who buys the premium pass can continue working on unlocking the rewards even after the pass has been retired, and you’ll never lose access. To purchase the Season’s Premium Pass, click the upgrade button on the /fish season command or select the Season Pass in the gem shop. Season Pass upgrade options. The Season Premium Pass+ version adds an extra bonus of instantly adding 25 tiers to your current tier level, unlocking all of the rewards from those tiers for you. As you unlock rewards, you can claim them with a button on the /fish season embed, so things like multipliers can be activated when you want them instead of instantly applied. Every few months, the current season pass will be retired, and a new one will be released. If you want to earn all of the rewards offered in a season pass, you have to unlock them before the season ends or upgrade to the Season Premium Pass. People who upgrade their pass will have access to the season forever, so they can work on it until they’ve unlocked every reward. If you are a premium subscriber on the website or Patreon, remember you get 10% more gems with every gem purchase from the Dank Memer Store, saving you money on the Season Premium Pass. Fish Guide The /fish guide command will be your best friend while fishing. It tells you where to find each fish, what time they are available, where NPCs hang out, the Skill Challenges you can complete to earn skill points, and tons of other useful information. At first, each guide page will be relatively empty, but as you catch each type of fish, visit a location, and meet an NPC, the pages will begin to fill up with the information you’ve learned and your personal stats. If you want to complete your guidebook, you have to fill in all of the information on every page until there are no shadows or question marks. Fish guide page for the cod fish. Throughout each page, you can also browse stats on how many fish you’ve caught with different tools, at different locations, with a specific bait, and more. As you unlock all the possible information on a page in the guidebook, the page will be marked as complete. You can see your completion data on the /fish guide summary page at the front of the book. If you are having trouble figuring out some missing data, talk with friends to see when a fish might be available so you can catch it. Skill Challenges and Upgrades Some of the most important pages of the /fish guide are the skill challenge pages. The Skill Challenges are fun, random challenges that allow you to earn skill points you can use to unlock and upgrade different fishing skills. Some of the challenges are extremely straightforward and simple, like catching 1000 saltwater creatures, while other challenges are extremely specific and will even tell you what day something has to be completed. Skill Challenges page. The challenges are meant to be fun, but they also can take time to complete because the skills you can unlock in /fish skills can be extremely beneficial. There are skills for everything, such as unlocking bucket slots, increasing fish sell prices, shortening the fish cooldown, improving rewards from NPCs, and tons more. Each skill category has multiple levels with increasing benefits. Fish skills list. There is even an idle fishing machine you can unlock with the AFK skill! The machine will fish for you, and all you have to do is use /fish idle and press start. You can collect fish throughout the day while it is running, or you can wait until you receive a DM telling you the machine is full. The idle fishing machine. The idle fishing machine can catch all types of fish from the available locations, and it’s a great way to keep making profits with minimal effort. If you upgrade the AFK skill, you can even equip baits and pick where the idle machine will fish. There are tons of skills to discover and choose from, but there are a limited number of skill points available, and you cannot unlock every single tier of every skill. If you regret where you’ve assigned your points, you can reset all of your points once every three days, or you can use gems to bypass the wait. Resetting your points removes them so you can apply them again in a new place. Daily Leaderboards If the Skill Challenges aren’t enough for you and you prefer competing against other users, try the /fish leaderboard. Every day, there is a leaderboard for one location, one NPC, one tool, one bait, and three fish that you can compete to be #1 on. Fishing location leaderboard. Scores on the leaderboard are not purely based on the time spent with an NPC or the number of fish caught, and many details can factor into your ranking. You can read more about how points are assigned in the Fishing Leaderboards Tutorial. You can check your progress throughout the day with the /fish leaderboard command, and if you are struggling, remember to look for skills you can upgrade to help you advance. The winner each day will receive a DM announcing they’ve won and some special rewards. All rewards are given instantly and added to your account, so you don’t have to claim anything. Fish Tank and Decorations If you want to show off a fish you’ve caught or save a special fish, you can put it in your fish tank. If one fish tank isn't enough, you can purchase more from the /fish shop command. Use the /fish buckets command to move the fish you want to save to your fish tank. The fish tank is the last option when choosing where to move a fish to. Once in the tank, the fish will rotate each time you refresh the page and move around throughout the day when you check on it. Fish tank and decorations. Fish in your tank won’t be sold when you sell your other fish, and you can keep them as long as you want. You can also unlock fish tank decorations to customize your tank. Check out a few in the /fish season rewards and in the /fish shop. Each fish tank can only hold a certain number of fish and decorations at a time, but there are skills you can upgrade to let your fish tank hold more. To see what decorations you have available, do /fish tank and click the “Manage” button. You can also use the /fish tank command to view other people’s fish tanks and see what sort of fish they are saving. If you want to give your fish special names to display, you can rename ones in your tank with the “Manage” button or use the /fish buckets command for ones outside of your tank. Managing Fish Buckets and Creatures

Accessibility TLDR: Creatures caught from fishing are not regular Dank Memer items and are managed differently. What you catch is stored in buckets, and you have limited bucket space. With the /fish buckets command, you can sell any number of your fish, equip and organize your buckets, give fish unique names, and choose creatures to display in your fish tank. To manage your tank or add decorations, use the /fish tank command. You can use skill points to unlock bucket slots, increase bucket space, and expand your fish tank. Unlike other commands, fishing has a separate way of organizing your baits, tools, and creatures to help create an immersive experience and make more features possible. If you want to know more about why fishing-related items are different, read the explanation here. The space for saving what you catch is limited, so you’ll need to learn how to manage your creatures and carefully choose which to sell, keep, or display so you don’t run out of space and can continue to fish. Buckets and Bucket Slots Fishing creatures won’t enter your regular inventory and instead will be organized into fish buckets. Each bucket can hold a limited number of fish, but the amount varies for each bucket. You can see how much your buckets can hold in /fish catch or by looking at the /fish buckets command. Bucket space in /fish catch. Everyone starts off with a small wooden bucket by default, so you can begin fishing right away. New buckets can be purchased from the fish shop or gem shop available in /shop view, and there are places you can earn them, like from the premium season pass. You can only own one of each type of bucket. To use a bucket, you must equip it in a bucket slot. There are five possible free bucket slots, but only two slots are unlocked to start, and the first one will be filled by the wooden bucket. To unlock more bucket slots, you have to earn skill points and level up the Storage Specialist skill in the science category of /fish skills. Upgrading this skill can also increase the space in your buckets. There is also a sixth bucket slow you can unlock temporarily with gems. This slot will stay unlocked for a limited time, and then you'll need to purchase it again. Viewing your equipped buckets. Once you have a new bucket, you can equip it with the /fish buckets command. Click the “Manage Slots” button to organize and equip your buckets. Equipping a bucket. Use the top drop-down menu to pick which bucket slot you want to change. Only slots you’ve unlocked will be available. Then, use the second drop-down menu to choose which bucket to put in the selected slot. If you remove skill points that give you access to a bucket, the bucket will become locked and you won't be able to use it, but you'll still be able to sell any fish within it or to unequip the bucket if it is empty. Eventually, you’ll probably own more buckets than bucket slots, but you cannot store creatures in the non-equipped buckets. Before removing a bucket, you must sell or move the creatures within it. You can read more about how to earn skill points so you can unlock bucket slots in the full fishing tutorial. Selling, Moving, and Naming Creatures Once you have a creature in a bucket, you can sell it, move it, and even rename it. If you want to instantly sell all the fish you have in all of your buckets, you can click the “Sell All Fish” button from the main /fish buckets embed. This will take you to a confirmation page where you can sell your fish for coins or Fish Tokens. Selling creatures confirmation embed. Fish Tokens can be used in the fishing shop to buy fishing-related items and equipment. Some fish are worth more coins or fish tokens than others, so if you want the best value for your fish, it is better to pick and choose which fish you sell for coins or tokens based on their value. If you want to sell fewer fish at a time or see what is in a bucket, do /fish buckets and select a bucket from the drop-down menu for more options. Viewing a bucket. When viewing a specific bucket, you can click the “Sell All Fish” button to sell only the fish from the bucket viewed instead of from every bucket. If you want to narrow down which fish you are interacting with even more, you can click the "Manage Fish" button. Managing your fish embed. When managing fish, you can pick and choose specific fish, all the fish on a page, or select fish by type. Once you select some fish, you can sell them or move the fish to a different bucket, making it easy to save fish that you feel are rare or special. You can also give any creature you catch a custom name or move ones you want to display to your fish tank, where they will be saved from being sold. If you want to save some fish for later, you can also lock a bucket so any fish within it won't be sold if you click "sell all fish." To lock a bucket, click to view the bucket, then click the lock icon. Once you've locked the bucket, you won't be able to unequip or move it, and you can't move or sell any fish within. Fish Tanks and Decorations Your fish tank is a showcase for your favorite creatures, and if one tank isn't enough to display all you've caught, you can purchase more fish tanks from the /fish shop. You can also purchase or unlock decorations for your tanks. To move a fish to one of your tanks, view a bucket and choose “Manage Fish.” When moving a fish, the fish tanks are the last options on the list of locations. When a fish is in your fish tank, it cannot be sold until it is removed. If you want to remove a fish or hide its name, click the “Manage” button for options. You can also use this button to rename your fish tanks so each one has a unique name. An example fish tank with a fish and decorations. The decorations you’ve unlocked are also visible when managing your fish tank, and from there, you can choose which decorations to display. Every fish tank can hold a limited number of creatures or decorations, but you can unlock more spots by upgrading the Aquarium Keeper skill in the nature category. You also can view other people’s fish tanks by using the optional user field when doing /fish tank. To learn more about other aspects of fishing, read the full fishing tutorial.

Legacy Items vs Fishing

One of the most significant changes with the new fishing system is that fishing-related tools, baits, and creatures are no longer considered items the way they were with the old fish command. While this change may take some getting used to, making this switch opens the door for us to introduce tons of exciting new features we think users will love. What is the difference? The new fishing tools, baits, and creatures not being items means: They won’t be visible in /inventory You can’t trade them to friends or sell/buy them on the market You can’t put them in your showcase You won’t see them in /currencylog The only place you can see the new fishing tools, baits, and creatures is through the new /fish commands. With the /fish catch command, you can click the “equipment” button to see what tools and baits you own. You can also go to the page for the baits or tools in your /fish guide to see how many you have. Any fish you’ve collected will be trackable in your /fish log. You can view, sell, and manage the creatures you’ve caught using the /fish buckets command and even choose to display a creature in your /fish tank. The old fishing pole, bait, and creature items from the old fishing command will remain in your inventory, but they cannot be used with the new command. Why are they different? We want the new fishing command to be more immersive and interactive than ever before, and to do that, we need to be able to make each fish you catch a distinct item so it can have unique data. Making each fish or creature unique means we can do things like track the size or length of what is caught, create more varieties of bait and tools, let you give your fish unique names, create tons of variants for each creature, and so much more. Moving the old fishing creatures into the new system wouldn’t be possible given how many exist, bucket limits, and all the data we’d have to create. Doing things this way allows the old fish collectors to keep their collections, and everyone can start the new fishing command on equal footing. No one has an advantage, and no one has to sell their old collection for more bucket space so they can use the new command. We know it is a big change, but we're excited to offer you a more dynamic and enjoyable fishing experience, and we can't wait for you to explore the unique possibilities of our revamped fishing system.

Fishing NPCs

Accessibility TLDR: Learn about the NPCs that may visit you while fishing with Dank Memer. They can bring you gifts, request favors, trade items, and more. The more they like you, the more they visit, and the better rewards they bring. Each NPC is available in limited locations. Your fish guidebook can help you discover where you can meet them and can be used to help you see how your relationship is doing. As you begin exploring the complex world of fishing with Dank Memer and start filling your buckets with fish after fish, prepare yourself to meet a brand-new cast of colorful, non-playable characters (NPCs). These characters are here to add a touch of unpredictability and excitement to every fishing session, as you never know when they may stop by or what they’ll have to say. The NPCs available may change over time, and there may even be limited-time characters in the future, so make sure to meet as many of them as possible while they're available! What are NPCs? The Dank Memer NPCs are a variety of characters you can interact with while using the fishing command. Each character has a unique personality, and you’ll get to know them better as you interact. Keep in mind, though, as you get to know the NPCs, they’ll also get to know you! How you treat each character matters, and they will remember whether you are naughty or nice to them. Zara Grey’s NPC page in guidebook. Your trusty guidebook (/fish guide) has one page for each NPC you might encounter while fishing. The guidebook will tell you more about them and show you a relationship status bar as you meet them. The status bar shows how the NPC feels about you and whether you have a positive reputation and are in the blue area, a negative reputation in the red, or you’ve stayed in the middle and have a neutral reputation. Your reputation with an NPC matters because it affects how they interact with you. The more they like you, the more they will visit. They will also offer better trades and rewards for users they like, so you want to be friends with them to get the most benefits. Each NPC also has specific locations they like to visit, and you can check the location pages in your guidebook to see what NPCs you can encounter in each spot. Location page from guidebook with arrow to NPCs. As you meet an NPC in a location, their spot on the location page will be filled in. If you are having trouble finding a character, try one of the other locations they like to see if they are there instead. Each character will pick one spot to visit each day, and it’s the same for everyone, so you might have to search around to see which location the character has chosen. In order to “complete” a location page in your guidebook, you need to meet the possible NPCs when they are visiting that specific location, and you must capture every creature possible for that place. What do NPCs do? While you are fishing, NPCs may stop by to visit. When an NPC visits, the messages will appear below your fishing game and will ping you to help make sure you don’t miss the visitor. Currently, there are five reasons an NPC might visit you: To Talk** - NPCs are people too, and they want to be friends. When one stops by to have a chat, how you respond will affect your reputation. The chat visits can change what the NPC thinks of you, so make sure to consider your reply carefully before you choose an option. Also, pay attention to how the NPC’s face changes with your reply to see if they liked your response or not, so you know whether it is a good choice to pick again next time. NPC chat message. To Bring a Gift** - Sometimes the NPCs decide to bring you a gift. You don’t have to accept or deny this gift, and it is automatically added to your inventory. The more an NPC likes you, the better the gifts can be. NPC offering a gift. To Request a Catch -** While fishing, if you catch something an NPC wants, they may stop by to ask you if they can have it. You do not have to give up the fish you just caught, but accepting the request will help your reputation with the NPCs. If you accept, the NPC will take the creature and it will not go into your bucket storage. Requesting a catch. To Offer a Trade -** If an NPC sees you have something they like in your inventory, they may ask you to trade. They can ask for anything, and each NPC has a range of items they may offer you in return. There is no decline button on the trades, but you can decline the offer by ignoring the trade. Ignoring a trade will not hurt your reputation with an NPC. Zara Grey offering a trade. To Give a Task -** Sometimes an NPC will ask you to fish at a specific location, to catch a specific type of creature, or to use a certain type of bait. You can see how much time you will have to complete the task right above the accept or decline buttons, and if you accept, you can track your progress on the /fish catch embed when fishing. If you fail to complete the task, you’ll disappoint the NPC, so do your best! If the fish is not available right now or the location is one you don’t want to visit, you can decline the task, but it will harm your reputation with the NPC. NPC task assignment. As you interact with the NPCs, remember that how you treat them matters! The nicer you are and the more you become friends, the more they stop to visit and the better rewards and gifts they offer you. You’ll notice their facial expression might change after you reply, so pay attention to their reactions to see how the NPC feels about what you’ve done. If you don’t like the trade, you can reject it at any time by completely ignoring the message, and tasks and requests for what you caught can be declined. But remember, ignoring or declining an NPC request will hurt your reputation with them, and the less they like you, the lower the quality of rewards they may offer. If certain NPCs like you enough, you can unlock exclusive items in the fishing shop available in /fish shop or /shop view. NPC offerings in the fish shop From the /shop view menu, use the drop-down menu to switch to the fishing shop and see what being friends with one of these characters can unlock. If you have trouble finding the NPCs when fishing, use your guidebook! Each character will be in one of their possible locations for the entire day, and the next day it could change. Try different locations to see where each NPC is hanging for the day, or ask friends to see if they’ve seen the NPC you’re looking for. The NPCs are in the same location for everyone each day. As you get to know the NPCs, remember to track how they feel about you by checking the relationship bar on their page in the guidebook. If the pointer is venturing into the red zone, the NPC is starting to dislike you! If you want to improve your reputation with them, be nice and help them with what they ask so they visit more often and give you better rewards. Giving away your fish or something from your inventory may be disappointing, but being friends with the NPCs has major benefits! So keep your fishing rod ready and your eyes peeled, as you never know who might drop by next!

Pet Slots and Upgrades

NOTE: The pet system has been updated, and this tutorial is outdated. You can read the updated tutorial for the current pet system here: https://dankmemer.lol/tutorials/pet-basics Owning a pet on Dank Memer can be extremely fun. Your pets can bring you items or defend you from being robbed, you can change their appearance with skins, and you can even have pet fights with your friends. There are more than 20 types of pets available, and sometimes it can be impossible to decide which pet you want. Fortunately, users can have multiple pets and can own a variety. How to get more pets A pet slot is a space for you to own a pet. By default, all users have five pet slots possible. There used to be a system keeping a spot for baby pets, but slots have been simplified now, and there are no more hidden slots. If you have fewer than 5 pets, you can buy new pets any time through the /pets buy command or the gem shop in /shop view, as well as complete pet quests or find pets through /search and /adventure. If five pets are not enough for you, an upgrade is available in the /advancements upgrades command that will give you more possible pet slots. The “more pets” upgrade lets you increase your possible pet slots to 50 (5 original + 45 upgrades). More pets upgrade Before purchasing a pet, check how many pets you own so you can see if you have an open slot. If you have 5 pets, you have 5 full slots and will need to purchase an upgrade slot before you can own another pet. If you have more than 5 pets and have never purchased an upgrade, you may have had a baby pet when there was a hidden slot for baby pets. Hidden slots are no longer a thing, so you would have to buy a slot for that extra pet first before anything else. Always check how many pets you own and how many upgrades you've purchased before trying to obtain a new pet, and make sure every pet you own has a slot, and that you have a slot open for the pet you want to buy. Each new pet slot costs a fee and the fee increases after each purchase. You can buy the slots one at a time to get exactly the amount you need, or you can buy multiple at a time if you want a ton of pets. As you buy new pet slots, if you have any pets from the old system where there was a hidden slot for a baby, your baby pet will take an open slot first. Then, the next slot will be open for a new pet. Where to get pets? There are currently six ways to possibly obtain a pet. The easiest way to obtain a pet is to buy it. You can buy a pet with the /pets buy command, and most pets are available this way, or there are a few special pets available in the gem shop in /shop view (click on the gem icon). Pets in the gem shop are also available in the Exclusive Gem Box, but you have to have an open slot to receive one. Pets buy If you see a pet that is listed but not purchasable in the shop, it is most likely a quest or adventure pet. Quest pets like the T-Rex and alien require you to complete a mini-quest in order to obtain them. Several secret items in Dank Memer can be used to activate a pet quest, and each one has special requirements you have to meet in order to get the pet. Users have to find these on their own or by talking with other players. Now and then, there are also exclusive pets only available in the /adventure command. These pets are sometimes sold later in the /advancements omega shop, but not always, so if you really want an adventure pet, make sure to get it while the adventure is available. Another way to get a pet is to find pets other users have disowned with the /search command or to be gifted a pet from a friend with /friends share. These pets can be any type of pet, and they may even be leveled up or have prestige. If using the friend system to share a pet, make sure you are only trading or gifting pets with friends. Many people want to buy or sell pets, but you can’t trade or sell pets to strangers. Adding strangers with the friend feature is against the bot rules, whether you’re trying to trade or gift items, coins, or pets, so keep this in mind if someone offers. The last way to get a pet is when two of your pets have a baby. Two pets who are shown as friendly with each other in the /pets view command can possibly have a baby together any time you have an empty slot available. You also need to have pet breeding enabled in /settings. Pets having a baby is never guaranteed, but if you treat your pets right and keep them happy, you might get a DM about a baby pet being born. For all of the options above, you must have a pet space available to get the pet, so make sure to keep track of how many pets you have and use the “More Pets” upgrade as needed.

Maintaining Your Streaks

Dank Memer has a variety of commands that you can build up streaks with, and for most commands, the longer the streak, the greater the rewards. In order to make the longest streaks you can, it’s important to understand how the streaks are made and what you can do to preserve them. Read through the guide below to learn more about maintaining each streak, as well as for information about what will happen if you miss a day or two. There are also some tools at the end you can use to help you with your streaks if you are struggling. Daily Streaks Daily Coins Embed The /daily command gives a daily dose of coins to help users earn some extra money. You can build up a longer daily streak by doing the /daily command every calendar day without missing days. Longer streaks mean greater rewards, so it’s really useful to keep yours growing as long as possible. If you want to maintain your daily streak, it’s important to note that the bot uses UTC and may be in a different time zone than you. If you want to figure out when the new day begins in your time zone, you can check what time midnight UTC is in your time zone with a time zone converter like this. You can also see when the next day starts any time you do the /daily command, as it will tell you when it’s next available. We know checking in every day can be difficult, so the daily streak will not be completely lost if you miss a day, but there is a penalty. If you miss one day, your streak will go down by one when you run the /daily command again. Similarly, if you miss two or three days, your streak will decrease by two or three to match. If you miss four days, however, your streak will be cut in half, and after missing five or more days, you will lose your streak completely and start back at 0. Streaming Stream manager embed Streaming can be a great way to earn some extra coins or get streaming items, and maintaining a longer streak gives you more sponsors and better pay over time. A longer streak also makes your stream last longer between interactions, so you don’t have to do the command as often to keep a stream going and it’s easier to earn more XP and level up. Stream streaks are built up by streaming each UTC day with the /stream command. Your stream streak updates each time you start a new stream on a new day, so make sure to start a new stream on each UTC day if you want to keep your streak going. If you get busy and miss streaming for one, two, three, or four days, your stream streak will go down one, two, three, or four to match. If you miss five or more days, you will lose your streak completely and start back at 0. Work Scientist job description Maintaining a job in Dank Memer gives you access to extra coins throughout the day and a chance to earn work-related items. The more you work, the more likely you are to get a promotion, and more promotions mean more money and better chances for a work item to drop. If you get 20 promotions, you also can earn a work star for your job, increasing your drop rate for work items for that job permanently. If you want to earn more work stars for the same job, resign once you get a star and then start the job over and earn 20 new promotions. You can earn as many work stars as you want for each job, increasing your chances of getting items with each one. If you want to keep any of the 20+ jobs available, be conscious of the number of shifts that are listed as being required per day when reading the job description in /work list. You need to work at least that many times each UTC day to maintain the job. If you repeatedly fail to meet the requirements for an entire week, you will be fired and lose all progress you’ve made with promotions, though any work stars earned will remain. For busy weeks or days when you’ve fallen behind on the required work hours, the cell phone can be used to help save your job. If you know you haven’t been able to work enough in a day, you can use a cell phone and choose the “call in sick for work” option from the list. This will prevent you from being punished if you don’t work enough, but just like in real life, you can still be fired if you call in sick too much. Marriage Marriage view embed Being married in Dank can be a fun way to use the bot with a friend. To get married, use an engagement ring on the person you want to marry and have them accept. You both will get a wedding gift after being married, and each week you and your partner keep your marriage going, you gain one marriage level. You can use /marriage levels to see what other perks are unlocked as you level up. To make the marriage last, you have to keep the love for each person above 0%. There are three ways you can increase your love to maintain the marriage: Play games like Tic Tac Toe or Connect4 with your partner with /game. Send your partner text messages by using the cell phone item. Add your partner as a friend with /friend add, and then share items or coins with them. You can see your current love status with /marriage view, so keep an eye on the percentage and make sure to interact to keep it from reaching 0%. Higher marriage levels make the love last longer, so you have more time without needing to interact. If both partners let their love levels reach 0, the marriage will begin to fall apart. For each day the love is 0% for both users, you will lose one marriage level. If you let the marriage stay at 0% for five days, you will be automatically divorced from your partner. Once you get divorced, you won’t be able to remarry for one week. Pets Pets care embed Pets can be fun to play with and level up, and they can even bring you rewards throughout the day, such as lootboxes and miscellaneous items. Leveling up your pet can help you earn achievements and can give you the option to do pet prestige. If you level your pet to Prestige 5, you can use a shooting star item on it to convert it into any other type of pet, just make sure to have the pet set as current in /pets view first. To help your pet gain levels, you need to care for it and interact with it. To care for your pet, keep an eye on the percentage bars for each stat in the /pets care command. Any time you see hunger, hygiene, or fun below 90%, you can press the matching button to increase the percentages and gain XP, helping your pet level up. You can also play fetch, hug, or walk your pet a few times a day for extra fun. Once you level your pet up enough, you can even prestige them with /pets view. Every pet has a different level of care needed, but most need to be interacted with at least once a day. To see how long your pet can last without care, do /pets view and look at the time given under the love bar. If the love bar reaches 0% for any of your pets, they can begin to feel neglected and will start to lose levels. Each day the love bar is at 0%, your pet loses one level, and it will continue to lose levels until you care for it. Ways to Protect Your Streaks Vacation** - If you are going to be away from Discord for a while or need a break from Dank Memer, the /vacation command can help you save everything while you are away. Vacation costs a fee to save your streaks, but it lasts up to 90 days and your daily, stream, marriage, work, and pets will all be kept exactly how you left them, ready for you to continue when you return. The only downside is you cannot run any commands while you are on vacation. Streak Freeze** - Streak Freezes last seven days and help keep you from losing any of your streaks or levels for marriage, pets, work, daily, and stream. Once the Streak Freeze expires, your streaks will be in danger again, so make sure to take care of them before the Streak Freeze runs out. You can buy Streak Freezes on the market, craft them, or get them in Membership Packs. Boxed Chocolates -** If you find your marriage love is decreasing too quickly, you can use Boxed Chocolates to instantly go up three marriage levels. Look at /marriage levels to see what perks unlock as you use the chocolates, so you know when you’ve hit a level that makes love fade more slowly. You can buy Boxed Chocolates from /drops when one is available or on the market. Spooky Mask** - If you need a break from worrying about your pets but don’t want to take a full vacation, the Spooky Mask item can be used to preserve all pet stats for two weeks. While the mask is active, you don’t need to care for your pets, and they will not lose levels. Using a Spooky Mask does have a downside, however, as your pets won’t increase in levels or have babies until the mask has worn off, and there is no way to remove the mask once you’ve used it. You can buy Spooky Masks on the market.

How to Wager with Fights

Accessibility TLDR Learn how to wager with the /fight quick and /fight create commands. It is possible to wager items vs. items, coins vs. coins, or items vs. coins by using the optional “quantity,” “item,” and “for” fields when typing the command. Wagering with /fight has arrived! Whether you want to fight coins vs. coins, items vs. items, or items vs. coins, the new /fight system can do it all. You can even choose specific fighting modes, like kick only, so you don’t have to worry about whether your opponent will follow the rules. If you haven’t used the /fight command yet, you can read more about all the fight modes and custom fight options in the /fight tutorial. How to Wager The /fight quick command options. When you type the /fight quick or the /fight create command, there are four optional text fields that can be used to make the fight have a wager. Quantity -** The number of coins or items you want to bet for the fight. Item -** The type of item you wish to bet (if any). For_quantity -** The number of coins or items your opponent will bet. For_item -** The type of item your opponent will bet (if any). Simple Bets If you and your opponent want to bet the same thing, you only need to use the regular quantity and/or item boxes for the command. Examples: To fight my 5 million coins for your 5 million coins, I would enter “quantity: 5,000,000”. To fight my 5 apples for your 5 apples, I would enter “quantity: 5 item: apple”. Cross Bets If you want to wager different coins or items, then you need to use the options to specify what each person is betting. Whatever you are entering in the quantity and item fields will be what you are offering to bet, while anything in the “for” boxes will be what your opponent will offer. Examples: To fight my 1 A Plus for your 100 million, I would enter “quantity: 1 item: A Plus for_quantity: 100m” To fight my 10m for your 1 Pepe Medal, I would enter “quantity: 10m for_quantity: 1 for_item: Pepe Medal” Example fight confirmation with cross bet. Once you submit the command, the confirmation will show your opponent what you are offering to fight so they can accept, and the fight will begin.

Interaction Locks

The Dreaded Message You are unable to interact with this due to an ongoing command or a minor issue. This can be very frustrating! This tutorial will explain what to do when it happens, how to prevent it (as best you can), and why it happens at all. But DONT WORRY! Nothing is wrong, you did nothing wrong, and this is normal. What do I do 1. Scroll up the chat a bit and make sure the bot isn't waiting for your response on something like a confirmation. 2. If you see nothing waiting for you, wait about 10 minutes from your last command/button/menu and then you'll be good to go! 3. Note what happened right before this occurred. Which button did you press? Which command did you execute? 4. If this happens repeatedly, report to the support server so we can get it fixed for the future! How do I prevent this? Long story short, it's difficult to prevent on your end. The best thing you can do is avoid SPAMMING buttons. Spamming fights or flows is a common cause of this issue. You can also make sure the server in which you are running commands is not deleting the bot's messages. If it deletes a confirmation, you'll get locked out! Why does this happen? In as non-technical terms as possible (because I'm a tutorial writer, not a developer): Between any commands that have data being written (coins moving, items gained/lost, even XP earned, etc.) we lock your account to prevent two conflicting operations from happening. If those conflicting operations happen, it can cause missing items OR the opposite (dupes!). A few of MANY possibilities are: Something goes wrong on our end like an internal server error. This would prevent us from unlocking you and start that 10-minute timer. Discord doesn't edit/send a message that was supposed to be edited/sent, so either on your end or ours there is something pending preventing the interaction from finishing. In the end, the lock is there for a very important reason. If there is a way to prevent a false lock by fixing it, we absolutely will! But just know, sometimes it's in the hands of god (Discord).

Website Subscriptions

Website Subscription Purchases This article will cover FAQ and common issues with website purchases for our subscriptions. FAQ Q: "What payment methods do you support?" A: We support most major credit cards, as well as google pay and apple pay. The cards supported are not managed by us. Read more here Q: "How do I get a refund?" A: Please refer to our refund policy for any and all questions regarding refund eligibility and how to initiate one. Q: "How do I upgrade/downgrade my subscription?" A: Visit the dashboard and you will be able to upgrade and downgrade your subscription. If for some reason that isn't working, you can email help@dankmemer.gg for more assistance. Q: "Why can't I see how much I'll be charged when I go to upgrade/downgrade?" A: Our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, does not give us the information on your charge. We simply tell them you want to upgrade and they handle it. The charge for an upgrade will be the cost of the new membership minus whatever they pro-rate your current subscription for. They will email you with your total when it's successful. Q: "When does my upgrade/downgrade take place?" A: If you upgrade, you are immediately charged and pro-rated. The perks and payment are instantly changed, but your weekly rewards will still be delivered on their regular schedule. You can check /premium status to see the next weekly reward delivery date and plan the best time to upgrade. If you downgrade, it happens at your next billing cycle. Q: "How do I cancel my subscription?" A: Visit the dashboard and you will be able to cancel your subscription. If for some reason that isn't working, you can email help@dankmemer.gg for more assistance. You can also do this through the email you got when you subscribed. Q: "Can I gift a subscription to someone else?" A: Not at this time. However it's a feature we plan on releasing in the near future after we've had time to make sure our initial product is stable and working for customers. Q: "Can I move here as a Patreon member?" A: Yes. At checkout there will be a checkbox acknowledging you will not receive any perks or refunds for your previous subscription if it is still active. It will overwrite your patreon info in our database. Q: "How can I get the promotion advertised for 3 month subscribers on the store page? Does my patreon history count?" A: That is for people who have paid for at least 3 months on our website store subscriptions. Patreon does not count, but being subscribed when our payment processor was stripe does count. Annual subs get this to you instantly as you're paying for at least 3 months. Possible issues Issue: "The bot says I haven't subscribed but I have!" Resolution: Please wait up to 10 minutes for your subscription to activate. If it's been longer than 10 minutes, check your bank/paypal account to make sure the payment isn't still "pending". If it's been successfully paid and has been over 10 minutes and you're logged into the correct account, please contact us via email: billing@dankmemer.gg and give us 3-5 business days to respond. Issue: "I bought this on the wrong Discord account!" Resolution: Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this situation. Subscriptions are not transferable in any way, and this is also not covered for refunds by us. Please make sure you're logged into the correct Discord account before purchasing anything.

Gem Purchases

Gem Purchases This article will go over gem amounts, FAQ, and possible issues. Amounts Given | Bundle Name | Price in USD | Base Amount | Bonus Gems | Premium Bonus | |-------------------------|--------------|-------------|------------|---------------| | Taste of Paradise | FREE | 175 | 0 | 18 | | Initiate's Stash | $1.99 | 450 | 0 | 45 | | Digital Dabbler's Pack | $4.99 | 500 | 50 | 55 | | Creator's Cache | $9.99 | 1000 | 125 | 113 | | Enthusiast's Emporium | $24.99 | 2500 | 600 | 310 | | Mogul's Menagerie | $49.99 | 5000 | 1100 | 610 | | Opulence Overload | $99.99 | 10000 | 3000 | 1300 | FAQ Q: "Does the premium gem bonus also give 10% of the listed bonus gems?" A: Yes. The 10% premium bonus will take the total of the base + bonus and give 10% of that. Q: "Why can I only buy the Initiate's Stash or Taste of Paradise once?" A: Because this is a limited-time offer, only available once per Discord account. There will be new offers in the future! Q: "Do Patreon members get access to the 10% more gem feature?" A: Yes! However, we really do suggest moving to our service. Your money goes further to getting to us, and we have more control over features! Q: "Can I gift a purchase of gems to someone else?" A: Yes! When purchasing a gem bundle from the store, there is a checkbox you can click to mark the purchase as a gift. Then you can enter the User ID for the person you want to gift or choose their name from the drop-down menu if you have them added as a friend on the bot. Make sure to verify the username, profile picture, and ID all match the person you intend to gift before confirming, as once it is sent it cannot be undone. Possible issues Issue: "My gems haven't arrived yet!" Resolution: Please wait up to 10 minutes for gems to arrive. If it's been longer than 10 minutes, check your bank/PayPal account to make sure the payment isn't still pending. If it's been successfully paid and has been over 10 minutes, please contact us via email: help@dankmemer.gg and give us 3-5 business days to respond. We will get your gems or your refund either way! Issue: "I bought gems on the wrong Discord account!" Resolution: Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this situation. Gems are not transferable in any way, and this is also not covered for refunds by us. Please make sure you're logged into the correct Discord account before purchasing anything.

Fight 2.0

Accessibility TLDR This tutorial details how to use the various /fight commands and explains what all the modes and terms mean. The /fight quick command is fast, with several preset modes you can pick from for 1v1 fights. The quick fight system lets you earn reputation points for the leaderboard and also comes with the new /fight ranking command where you can level up to earn different ranks and titles. There is also a /fight create command that gives more options to customize your fights and add more users, but it does not count toward the reputation or ranking system. To view your past fights, you can use the /fight history command for a complete record. Normal fight embed. The fighting commands in Dank Memer have been upgraded, and there is now so much you can do with it that we’ve broken it out into a top-level command. Instead of typing /game to fight, you will use the /fight commands so it’s easier to access. One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is that the fighting embeds are now stateless, meaning the embeds do not expire. Users will still have set time limits to make their moves each turn, but if you try to see the logs after a fight is over, you’ll notice the embeds no longer time out. Another major change is that users no longer take turns making moves. Every round, all the fighters choose their move, and once all the choices have been made, you get to see the results. The /fight system also offers tons of ways you can customize your fights, from having an all-out brawl with up to six people to limiting the fight to only specific commands. With the new fight system, there is also a fight ranking system and a new leaderboard you can try to top. If you want to bet coins or items when fighting, read the tutorial on how to wager with fights here. Fight Quick The new default method for fighting is the /fight quick command. This command lets you start a fight against one other user with specific modes that are pre-designed for you. Fight quick command. Each of the preset fight modes offers a different combination of moves and settings that are activated for the fight. There are currently five preset modes possible. Normal** - The basic fight mode with options to punch, kick, defend, and flee. Punch and kick are attack moves that can do damage. Defend will block the opponent’s move for that turn, so you do not receive damage, but you cannot defend again for 3 turns afterward. Flee means you run away from the fight and give up, letting the other person win. No Defend** - This removes the option to defend, so you can only kick, punch, or flee. Kick Only** - Only the options to kick or flee are available. Punch Only** - Only the options to punch or flee are available. Half Health** - Decreases the starting health for both users by half for a shorter fight. Surprise** - Hides the values on the health bar and the damage done with each move, so users cannot see who is winning until the fight is over. The option to defend is also removed. Chaos** - Users each have a chaos button to press, and it does a random move for you each turn: punch, kick, or defend. You don’t know what move was done until the turn is over. You also have a button to flee. If none of the modes above interest you, or you want to fight with more than one other user, you can also use the /fight create command to customize a fight and make your own mode. There are more details about the /fight create command near the end of this tutorial. Once you and your opponent fight and a winner is declared, a new series of buttons will appear. Buttons shown after a fight. The logs button shows you the move-by-move summary of the damage done each round. Since the fight embeds never time out, you can go back and view the logs at any time, and they are available to any user who clicks the button. If you want to watch the fight as if it’s happening all over again, you can click to watch the replay and scroll through each round of the fight to view it again. There is also a graph of the fight available if you click on analysis. The fight again button gives you and your opponent a quick option for a rematch. Both users have to click the button to agree to fight again, and you can fight again as many times as you want. The final button you’ll notice is the give reputation button. Every time you fight someone, you have the option to give them a reputation point at the end of the fight. You can only give each user one reputation point no matter how many times you fight them. You can view the reputation of a user on the fight itself under the user’s health bar. Reputation and streak icons shown during a fight. The medal icon under the health bar shows the user’s reputation. You can also view the reputation leaderboard with the /leaderboard stats command to see how you measure up to others. There may also be a trophy symbol under the health bar. The number next to the trophy is the user’s current win streak. Win streaks will only begin showing once a user has won 3 fights in a row. If you ever think your streak is wrong, you can view a complete record of all of your fights with the /fight history command. Reputation points and win streaks are only available with the /fight quick command, and any fights done with /wager or /fight create do not count. Fight Rankings With the /fight quick system comes a competitive ranking system called /fight ranking. You can achieve seven possible fight rankings by using the quick fight command, and with each new rank, you unlock a special title. Fight ranks available are bronze, iron, silver, gold, platinum, jade, and amethyst. All users begin in the Bronze rank. Every week everyone will be divided into groups called buckets. Each bucket of users will compete against each other during the week to see who can get ranked the highest. At the end of the week, the top 20% of the group will advance to a higher rank, those at the bottom will be demoted down a rank, and the middle group of users will remain in the same rank. In order to increase your ranking, you have to fight using /quick fight. From every fight, you’ll earn points based on a variety of factors, such as who won and how good your moves were. The more you fight the same person, the fewer points you’ll get, so you have to fight new users if you want to earn points quickly. You can view your bucket and rank with the /fight ranking command. Fight rankings embed. You can also show off your new fighting rank and stats with the profile customization upgrade. You can read more about how to customize your profile and show or hide pieces of information in the profile customization tutorial. Once you have the upgrade, select “fight” from the top drop-down in the profile customization menu, and then choose which information you want to show off. Fight info on a profile, including win ratio, reputation, rank, wins, and most or least favorite actions. If you want to maintain your rank each week, you’ll have to keep doing quick fights and earning points, or you may lose your spot. The titles you earn from achieving a rank don’t disappear, though, and you can show them off by adding them to your profile with /title set. Fight Create If you are more interested in creating your own custom fight and aren’t worried about earning rankings or reputation points, try the /fight create command. Creating your own fight allows you to pick and choose exactly what moves and settings you want to use, and you can invite up to five other players to fight in teams of two. Fight create setup embed. The /fight create command has all the basic options that are available with /fight quick, but there are also several new options you can try. Kiss** - A move that heals your opponent. Once you use it, you cannot use it again for 3 turns. Spin** - An attack move that can damage multiple users on the other team at the same time. Flick** - Does a small, consistent amount of damage each turn. Edit Health** - An option to edit the starting and max health values. Hide Health - An option to hide the health bars during the fight. Hide Log Values - An option to hide the damage done with each move during the fight. Join Left/Right Side** - Buttons to let you pick which side of the fight you want to be on. There has to be at least one player on each side to start a fight. Once you’ve chosen the settings and moves you want for the fight, all the players must click the “Start Fight” button to begin. If any player changes the settings, all players must agree to start the fight again. Custom fights done with the /fight create command don’t give you reputation, streaks, or ranking points, but they give you tons of options to make your fights exactly what you want and are a great way to get all your friends involved.

Patreon to Website Transition

Accessibility TLDR: This tutorial explains moving your Patreon subscription to the Dank Memer website membership. There are two ways to do it: a slow and smart way, which involves waiting for your Patreon pledge to expire, and a fast and impatient way, which allows you to move over immediately. The tutorial also explains the perks you'll receive for moving over, including an exclusive title and gems. You cannot have two subscriptions simultaneously, so if you move over with an active Patreon subscription you will lose any remaining perks from that subscription. So you have an active Patreon subscription, and you want to move to our website for membership instead? You found the right article! The slow and smart way If you want to get the MOST out of your Patreon perks before moving over, this is the section for you. Step 1 - Cancel your patron pledge and in the exit survey mention "switching to website" Step 2 - Wait until your existing pledge has expired. For most of you, this will be the 1st of the next month after canceling. You can see this date if you saw when your next Patreon charge was supposed to come through. If you paid annually... you may be waiting a long time. Step 3 - Wait a few more days after the expiration date until Dank Memer realizes you stopped paying and removes your bot perks. Step 4 - Head over to dankmemer.lol/store to sign up for a new subscription and enjoy your new perks. Thanks for your support! The fast and impatient way If you just want to move over as fast as possible and don't want a lapse in your perks, this is how you'll do it. Step 1 - Cancel your patron pledge and in the exit survey mention "switching to website" Step 2 - Head over to dankmemer.lol/store and read the notice it gives you. Step 3 - ⚠️ READ THE SECTION BELOW BEFORE CONTINUING ⚠️ Step 4 - You can only have one subscription at a time, and you will NOT get any of the benefits from Patreon once you switch to the website. If you switch, you'll have to agree that you are okay with giving up the other perks without a refund. Step 5 - If you are alright with not receiving any of the former perks or a refund, click the checkbox to confirm and follow through with purchasing the new subscription. Step 6 - Enjoy your new premium perks! What do I get when I move my subscription over to the website? This is a good question to ask before moving over at all! The website has a more reliable connection to Discord, so you shouldn't have to deal with relinking your account whenever your payment renews like you sometimes do with Patreon. Subscribers through the website also often have exclusive perks for recurring subscriptions, like the deal below. CURRENT WEBSITE EXCLUSIVE DEAL: After 3 months of continued subscription, you'll receive: An exclusive title 500 gems If you have any trouble with the website subscription, read through the answers to frequently asked questions or visit our support server.

Premium Perks and How to Redeem Them!

Accessibility TLDR: Dank Memer offers various perks and rewards to its premium users who donate through their website or Patreon. Premium perks include lower cooldowns on commands, weekly rewards, access to an exclusive chat with update leaks, the ability to autopost memes, and more. The process to link your Dank Memer account with Patreon involves linking your Discord and Patreon accounts and running the /premium status command. Once linked, users can see their current premium status and rewards by running /premium status. Mega Meme subscribers and above can redeem a Discord server to make it premium, sharing some of their Dank Memer premium perks with other users. Users with the Mega Meme tier and above have access to the automeme command, which allows them to set up a channel in a premium server where memes are automatically posted. Premium subscribers also receive a variety of automatic perks, such as shorter cooldowns on commands and extra coins and XP. You are a premium user if you donate to support Dank Memer through our website or on Patreon, and premium users have access to special rewards and perks on Discord. Perks vary based on your subscription tier, but they can include lower cooldowns on commands, weekly rewards, access to an exclusive chat with update leaks, the ability to autopost memes, and more. See the description of each donation tier with /premium info for a complete list of what perks are available at each level. Linking your Account If you’ve signed up for premium on the Dank Memer website, your account was automatically linked when you logged in to purchase a subscription. You should be able to see your premium information with /premium status within a few minutes of your purchase. If you purchased premium through Patreon, you’ll need to follow a few simple steps to link your account. The first step is to link your Discord account with your Patreon account. To link accounts, log into your Patreon account and go to the Apps section from your user settings. Under “Third-party Apps,” you’ll see Discord as an option. Click connect if you are not yet connected, and make sure it shows the correct Discord username. Patreon third-party apps settings If you are using a mobile device, sometimes the connect/disconnect button doesn’t show properly or is cut off when your phone is upright, but if you put your phone in landscape mode, you should be able to see the button. Once your Patreon is linked with Discord, you’ll need to link Dank Memer to get your bot perks. To link Dank Memer, run /premium status in any server with Dank Memer, and you’ll get your current premium status. If you’ve already linked your Dank Memer account, the premium status command will give you information about your tier level and upcoming rewards. If you have not linked your account yet, click the second link to finish setting everything up. Unlinked donor status message If you are on a monthly plan through Patreon, you will need to relink once a month to continue receiving your perks. The process should be quick and easy and only take a minute or two. Receiving Your Rewards Depending on your subscription tier, you may be eligible to receive weekly rewards, including multiplier boosts, skin fragments, coins, XP, or even some lootboxes. Run the /premium status command anytime to see your current tier and rewards. Donor status embed Doing /premium status will tell you your tier, upcoming rewards, and the next date you can receive your rewards. Rewards are automatically delivered to your Dank Memer account each week on the date given in the donor status message. If you have DM notifications enabled in /settings, you will receive a DM from the bot letting you know when your rewards have arrived. If you check /currencylog after, you can see the rewards have been added to your inventory. You can change the date you receive your rewards once every two weeks by pressing the button at the bottom of the /premium status command. Once you pick a new date and time, it will apply to the next week’s rewards. Redeeming a Server Mega Meme subscribers and above can redeem a Discord server to make it premium, sharing some of their Dank Memer premium perks with other users. How many servers you can redeem and what perks can be shared depends on what tier level you are. For higher tiers, redeeming a server gives the entire server access to the weekly command, a premium server multiplier, and shorter cooldowns. It also allows you to set up a channel that auto-posts memes for everyone to see. Read the description of your tier level to see what you are eligible for. To redeem a server and make it premium, go to the server you want to share perks with and run the /premium premiumserver add command in any channel. As long as no one else has redeemed the server already, this will activate your perks for that server. If your tier allows you to share perks with others, users will instantly be able to access the perks and do not have to do anything once the server is redeemed. If you want to remove a server from being premium at any time, do the /premium premiumserver list command to get the server's ID number, and then do /premium premiumserver remove (ID) to remove your perks from the server. You can remove the premium server from your list from anywhere and do not have to be in the server. Setting Up Automeme Users with the Mega Meme tier and above have access to the automeme command, which allows them to set up a channel in a premium server where memes are automatically posted. To set up the automeme function, you must first redeem the server as premium. Once the server is premium, have a server admin go to the server settings and click integrations. Under integrations, there is an option for webhooks. Integrations in server settings Click on the webhooks option, and create a new webhook for the server. Once a new webhook is created, click the down arrow next to the webhook’s name to open the options for the webhook. In the webhook options, you can choose the channel it is for, change its name, and grab the webhook URL. Fill out the information as needed, then copy the webhook URL and exit out of the server settings. Gif showing webhook creation To finish setting up, go to the channel you want the memes to be automatically posted in and do the /automeme set command. Automeme set command Put the URL you copied in the webhook text box, and enter how often you want memes to be posted in minutes in the interval box. Once you’ve filled out the info and submitted the command, memes should begin automatically posting. You can change the interval by running the command again and entering a new interval. If you want to stop memes being posted, run the /automeme remove command in the channel where the memes are autoposting. Automatic Perks With every premium subscription, there are a variety of perks that are added to your Dank Memer account automatically. Some may vary based on donor tier, but possible perks can include: Shorter Cooldowns** - All premium users have shorter cooldowns for commands than non-premium users, so you can do commands more often without having to wait. Market Inspect** - Premium users can access the market inspect feature. The market inspect feature is available on each item, and it shows the recent sales for the item so you can get an idea of whether it’s trending up or down in price. Weekly and Daily Coins** - Premium users have access to the /weekly command, which gives a small boost of coins each week. If you make a server premium by redeeming, other users within the server will also gain access. When doing /daily, premium users also receive a few extra coins each day for being a donor. Luck Boosts and Rerolls** - Premium users get an extra luck boost for some commands, such as /search, /hunt/, dig, and other basic grind commands that a Lucky Horseshoe would affect. Premium users also have access to the reroll feature on /scratch, /quests, and when opening lootboxes, allowing them to reroll once for a second chance at scratch, to get new daily quests, or to try for better rewards when opening lootboxes. Drops and Discounts** - Premium subscribers receive a 5% discount on items purchased from /shop view and sometimes have access to exclusive drop sales. Drops are special events where items are released in a short-term sale. To see the available drops use the /drops command. A drop will be labeled if it is for donors only. To buy when it is time for the drop, simply do /drops and click the buy button. Steal Shields and Multipliers -** Being premium gives you a rob shield that will help protect you. The rob shield prevents robbers from being able to take all of your money when robbing you, so a small portion is protected. The size of the rob shield given depends on your tier. All donors also receive coin and XP multiplier boosts for donating. The size of the boosts is based on your donation tier. You can see your multipliers with the /multipliers commands. Lower Prestige Requirements -** The requirements for premium users to prestige are slightly lower than non-premium, so premium users need fewer levels and less money each time. You can see the lowered values when doing /advancements prestige. Customization Options -** Premium users can customize their profiles and giveaways in ways regular users cannot. For giveaways, premium users can add a custom message for others to see. For profiles, premium users who have purchased the profile customization upgrade in /advancements upgrades can add a gif or image to their profile and pick a custom embed color. For more information about profile customization, read the tutorial here. Vacation, Friends, and Reminders -** Premium users can set unlimited reminders with the /reminders command, have twice the friend slots available as regular users, and receive free vacation days for the /vacation command. If you have to take time away from Dank Memer, the /vacation command helps to preserve your streaks, pets, and more for a small fee. The number of free days changes based on your tier, and it’s listed on the confirmation message when you begin a vacation. Vacation embed Donor Role in DMC -** Lastly, premium users receive a special donator role in the Dank Memer Community Server. This role should be automatically added to you in the server once your /premium status message shows you are linked and your perks are active. If you do not have the roles after signing up, contact a server moderator for help. The bot premium user role gives you access to an exclusive channel where you can chat with other premium users, there is no comment cooldown, and sometimes extra sneak peeks are shared by developers.

Skins!

Accessibility TLDR: Dank Memer has introduced the new skins feature, allowing users to collect and select art for their pets, items, and farm. Skins can be collected by running commands or receiving them as level-up or vote rewards. Skin fragments can also be earned, which can be used to purchase skins from the Dank Memer shop. Dank Memer has evolved many times over the years as we’ve grown and changed into the bot we are today. The all-new skins feature is not only a fun new feature for users, but it’s also a way to pay homage to the past as we bring back old art and memories of where we’ve come from. With skins, users can look back to see how much things have changed, can use some of the old art they miss, and can try tons of new art as it’s released. Skins cannot be traded, shared, or purchased with coins, so the only way to get them is to earn them yourself, and everyone has an equal opportunity to find them. What are Skins Alcohol item skins Skins are collectible art for your farm, items, and pets available throughout the bot. Some of the art is OG art from the earliest days of the bot, and others are all-new art that was specially created just for this feature. If you unlock a skin, you can select it as the art you want to see, so whenever you look at your farm, item, or pet, the skin you chose for it will be shown. To see what skins are available for different items, you can click on each item here. Some skins are meant to be a surprise, though, so not all are listed. You have to unlock them to discover them! Collecting Skins Skins view embed Skins can be collected by running commands, such as /hunt and /dig. You can use /help table to see the possible rewards for each command, so you know if skins are available. Skins are also found as level-up rewards and vote rewards, so use /advancements vote and /advancements levels to see what levels you need to reach. Some exclusive skins are available in the Gem Shop that can be purchased with gems. If you want to purchase these, you can do /shop view and click the gem icon in the middle of the arrow buttons to go to the gem store. Any skins available in the gem shop are also available in the Exclusive Gem Box. More places to find skins are constantly being added, so keep an eye on the changelog for further news. If you want to view all the skins you’ve collected, you can do /skins view. This will show any skins you’ve unlocked and will tell you how many you have left to find. Using Skins Once you’ve unlocked a skin, you can use /skins select item, /skins select pet, or /skins select farm to select it. For pet skins, you must own that type of pet to use them, but for items, you don’t have to own the item to use the skin. So, for example, if you want to pick a new fishing pole skin to use, you would do /skins select item and enter fishing pole as the choice. Fishing pole selection embed Once you do the command, you’ll see the item and a drop-down menu you can click to switch between the possible skins. Skins you’ve unlocked will show their images, and skins you have not unlocked will show as a question mark. Fishing pole skin options Choose the skin you want to use from the drop-down menu, and press select. Once you’ve selected it, that skin will be what you see for that item throughout the bot. Skin Fragments The Skin Fragment system is intended to help users get the skins they really want so they have more control over their collection and more opportunities to collect. With the new system, if you find a skin you already own while grinding, you will now be given Skin Fragments instead. Fragments being found The number of Skin Fragments you get will depend on the rarity of the duplicate skin you find. The rarer it is, the more Skin Fragments you’ll get to make up for your already owning the skin. The Skin Fragments can be used to purchase skins you don't already own from the Omega Shop or Skin Shop. Each day in the Omega Shop, a new skin is available for a discounted price, but you must meet the Omega requirement to purchase it. To view the current skin in the Omega Shop, do /advancements omega and go to the second page. The Skins Shop is available in the /shop view command. Use the dropdown menu to select the Skin Shop, and there, you can view all of the available skins you can purchase with Skin Fragments. What is available rotates every day, so check back each day if you want to collect every possible. If you already own a skin, the buttons will be grayed out, and you cannot purchase it. Since the shop only changes once a day, you have time to earn fragments to purchase any skins you want to buy. It will also give you an advantage if you collect all the skins, as you can then save fragments to purchase the newest skins when they are released. To see the number of skin fragments you own, check out the /skins view page for your total. And if you’re wondering, yes, fragments are saved during Prestige and Omega, and no, they cannot be lost to death.

Running Server Events and Giveaways

Accessibility TLDR: Dank Memer's server events system allows server owners to host giveaways, raffles, Split or Steal games, and bankrobs using a shared pool of coins and items donated by members. The system requires designated event managers and tracks all donations and withdrawals for transparency. This tutorial teaches you how to use Dank Memer's server events system to host giveaways, raffles, Split or Steal games, and server bankrobs in your Discord server. Everyone loves giveaways and server events where you can hang out and interact with other users and possibly win prizes. With the server events system in Dank Memer, servers with over 50 members (excluding bots) can maintain a server pool of items and coins they can use to run giveaways and events. We recommend reading through the bot rules for giveaway requirements before you host any in your server. Server Pool and Events Managers Every server with access to the server events commands has a server pool. The server pool is a storage for all the coins and items people donate to the server. Only the designated event managers are able to take things out of the server pool for giveaways and events. In order to user server events, first, designate a giveaway or event manager role within the server that can have access to the server pool. It is recommended you make this role available to a limited number of people you trust, as they will be able to remove items from the server pool at any time. Once you’ve made a role that you want to have access to the pool, go to /serversettings and click the Events Manager option. Events manager settings Click the “Edit” button and select the role you want to have permission to host giveaways and submit. Once you’ve submitted, anyone with that role will have access to begin running server events and giveaways. Users can use /serverevents pool at any time to view what items and coins are in the pool. The pool lists the total net worth, the total number of coins, and all the items currently in the pool. Giving Donations Anyone in a server can donate toward the pool depending on your server's settings and who has access to the command (read more about server settings here). If someone wants to donate to the server pool, they can do /serverevents donate. Donate command There are two boxes to possibly fill in for the donate command. If you are donating coins, you would simply fill out the total amount you want to donate in the quantity box and then submit the command. If you are donating items, you would enter the total number of items you want to donate in the quantity box, then add the optional item field to fill in the type of item. Once you submit, you’ll get a confirmation of what you’re donating before it’s finalized, so you have a chance to cancel it if you make an error. Giveaways The most basic server event you can run is a standard giveaway, where you give items or coins to a specific number of winners. To run a giveaway, first, make sure what you want to give is in the server pool. When you’re ready, do /serverevents run giveaway. Server giveaway command The first thing to fill out is the number of winners. You can have up to 5 winners, and whatever you enter will be divided among them. Next, decide how many hours you want the giveaway to last. Giveaways can last anywhere from 1 to 12 hours. In the quantity field, you’ll want to enter the total amount of money being given away or the total number of items given away. The quantity you enter is the total amount that will be divided up among the winners, not the amount each person will win. There is no minimum amount required for a server giveaway, but whatever you choose has to be divisible by the number of winners. If you are giving away items, the last step is to add the optional item field and enter the name of the item as well. Once you’ve finished filling out all the boxes, submit the command, and the giveaway will be started in the channel you are currently in. Giveaway embed Once it ends, winners will be automatically paid, so you don’t have to do anything more. The name of the winners will appear on the giveaway as well, so everyone can see who won. Raffles Another type of giveaway or event you can host in your server is a raffle. Raffles are basically giveaways with an entry fee. You get to choose what item(s) you want to give away, and you pick an item to charge people to enter. To start a raffle, you need to use /serverevents run raffle. Raffle command In the first field that says “entry_item”, enter the name of the item you want people to pay as the entry fee. People will have to give one of what you choose each time they enter, so make sure the fee makes sense for what you are giving away and is not too expensive. Whatever is used as the entry fee will be added to the server pool each time someone enters. Next, enter the number of days you want the raffle to be available. You can choose anything from 1 to 12 days. The longer it runs, the more possible entries, but also consider how long people will want to wait for the prize you are giving away. In the quantity field, enter the number of items you want to give away, and then in the item field, put the name of the item you want to give. There will only be one winner, so the total prize will go to one winner. Once all the fields are correct, submit the command, and the raffle will begin in the channel you are in. Raffle embed Users can enter as many times as they want, but each time they’ll be charged another one of the items you’ve chosen as the entry fee. All of the entry fees are added to the server pool so you can give them away in the future. Raffles are a great way to earn extra inventory for a server pool, but make sure to pick entry fees that make sense for what you are giving away. Split or Steal Split or Steal is a game where two users are chosen to possibly win a prize. The two users are given the option to split the prize or steal it. If both people split, then they share the coins or items that are the prize. If one of them steals and one of them splits, however, then the person who steals gets everything. If both steal, then they both get nothing, and the prize goes back to the server pool. To run a game of split or steal, you need to use /serverevents run splitorsteal. Split or steal command For the quantity box, enter the total amount of coins you want to give away for the game or the total number of items. Whatever you enter, make sure it is divisible by two, so it can be split between the users if they decide to split. If you are giving away items, fill out the optional item field with the item name as well. Once you’ve finished entering the information, submit the command, and the Split or Steal game message will appear with a button allowing users to enter for a chance to be a contestant. Split or steal join embed After about a minute, two users will be picked out of all who joined. The users can then choose whether they split or steal, and after another minute or two, the results will be shown, and prizes will be automatically given out if anyone wins. Bankrobs Another fun server event you can host is a server bankrob. Server Bankrobs can be hosted for any amount of money you have available in your server pool, and they do not cost anything for users to enter. Make sure users know they cannot be in passive mode if they want to join. To start a server bankrob, use /serverevents run serverbankrob. Server bankrob command Fill out the quantity with the total amount of coins you want to host the bankrob for, and once you submit, the bankrob will begin in the channel you are in. There is no minimum or maximum amount for hosting a server bankrob. Server bankrob embed Users can click the “Join Bankrob” button to join in and have a chance at a portion of the coins. Not everyone is guaranteed to get coins from the bankrob, though, as there is a chance users are fined coins from their wallet or that they die in the process and lose a life. After a few minutes, the results will show, and you can see how many won, lost, and didn’t make it. Manual Payouts There are a variety of other games and giveaways servers can do, so if you are using another bot to host an event, there is also a manual payout option available to pay users their prizes. To do a manual payout, use /serverevents payout. Manual server payout command Enter the name of the user who should receive the prize in the user field and the number of coins or items they should receive in the quantity field. If they are receiving an item, fill out the name of the time in the optional item field as well. Once you submit the command, you’ll get a confirmation to verify the information is correct. Manual payout confirmation Click confirm, and the prize will go to the winner. If they have DM notifications enabled, they will receive a notification that they have received the prize. Tracking the Server Pool In order to help servers keep track of donations and to help hold giveaway and event managers accountable, there is a system to log everything for transparency. If you want to track donations, you can use /serverevents donations to see all that has been donated to a server and by who. You can also fill out the optional user field to filter donations by specific users. If you want to see logs of what has been taken from the server pool, you can use /serverevents logs. The logs will show any item or coins leaving the server pool, whether it is for a giveaway, event, or manual payout. It also shows who initiated the command that made the item be taken. This is useful for keeping track of where items are going and can help prevent misuse of the server pool. How to Set up a Server with Dank Memer

Accessibility TLDR: Adding a new bot to a server can be a monumental task, with a million settings to figure out while you have a server full of eager users waiting to get started. Below is a guide with everything you’ll need to help make the process of setting up Dank Memer in your server as fast and easy as possible, from how to invite the bot, to restricting bot access and disabling commands and items. If you have trouble at any point, come to the Dank Memer Support Server and we’ll be happy to help! Inviting Dank Memer The first step for setting up Dank Memer in your server is to invite the bot if you haven’t already. You can invite the bot through websites like Top.gg or Discord Bot List, or by looking at Dank Memer’s profile on Discord and clicking the “Add to Server” button. You can also click here to add the bot to a server right now without any third party. You must be an admin or owner of a server to be able to invite bots. When adding Dank Memer, you’ll first have to choose the server you wish to add the bot to. Choose the server from the list of choices, and then click “continue” and you’ll see a message like the one on the right with the permissions the bot needs. The permissions asked for are the basic things Dank Memer needs to run smoothly. Make sure the permissions are all checked, verify the server name above the permissions is the one you intended to add the bot to, and then click the “Authorize” button on the bottom to add the bot to your server. Invite Image Rob/Heist Protection Dank Memer has a function where users who play the bot can rob and heist each other. If you want to keep these commands enabled in any part of your server, skip to the next section of the tutorial. If you do not want this available in your server, the very first thing you should do once the bot has been added is to type /serversettings in any channel, so you can disable robbing and heisting. The first option you’ll see once you run the server settings command is “Bank Robbing”. Click the “Disable” button to disable the ability for people to bank heist each other. It will look like the image below if you’ve disabled it correctly. Bank robbing disabled with the green enable button lit up Next, click the down arrow to the right of the words “Bank Robbing” and you’ll open a drop-down menu with other settings options. Select “Robbing” from the given options and click “disable” there as well to prevent people from robbing each other’s wallets. Users have both wallets and banks that can be robbed, so both of these need to be disabled if you want 100% protection. Disabling the commands this way also prevents even users at the admin level from being able to rob or heist. Bot Permissions Once you’ve made your choices about robbing and heisting, the next thing to do is set up bot permissions for the server. Dank Memer commands can be restricted so they are only available in specific channels, for specific users, or even completely disabled. To set up these types of permissions, you have to go to the integrations options in your server’s settings. At this time, this has to be done from a computer, as it does not currently work on mobile devices. To find the integrations, click your server name in the upper left corner of your Discord app and select “Server Settings” from the options. In the settings, on the left side of the screen, you’ll see “Integrations” as an option under the apps section. Integrations tab with Dank Memer Select integrations, and then find Dank Memer under “Bots and Apps” on the right and click on the word “Manage”. If you have trouble finding Dank Memer, you may have to remove some bots from your server until Dank Memer appears on the bots and apps list. Currently, servers can only use slash commands for up to 50 bots at a time. After clicking “Manage” for Dank Memer, you’ll see there are three types of permissions you can customize for the bot: Roles & Members, Channels, and Commands. Roles channels and commands integrations example Permissions for Roles & Members You can use the Roles & Members section in integrations if you want to restrict access to Dank Memer to specific user roles within your server. If you aren’t sure how to create roles for your server, you can read more about that here. To set up your server so only specific roles have access to Dank Memer, click the X for the @everyone role to disable Dank Memer for all users. Everyone perms disabled Then, click the “Add roles or members” button, select the role(s) you want to give access from the choices given, and click “Add”. Lastly, press the checkmark next to the role(s) you want to give access to, and it will give permission for the role(s) to use Dank Memer commands. See the image below for an example of how it would look if you want only users with a Level 30 role to use the bot. Enabled perms for only specific roles If you want to make it so one role cannot access the bot but everyone else can, you would do the opposite. Keep the @everyone role marked with a green checkmark, and mark the role that is not allowed to use the bot with the red X. If a Level 30 role was not allowed to use the bot, it would look like the image below when finished. Enabled perms for everyone except one role You can set up permissions for as many roles as you wish to customize, but remember, you do not have to set permissions for every role unless you want to restrict access in some way. If all users are allowed to use the bot, you can simply leave the @everyone role marked with a green checkmark and not change anything else. Permissions for Channels The second area you can customize bot permissions is for specific channels. By default, Dank Memer will be accessible in every channel once it’s added to your server. If you want Dank Memer to be accessible everywhere, then you do not have to change anything and can simply leave the “All channels” option marked with a green checkmark. All Channels enabled The “All channels” permission basically tells you what the permissions are for any channel not mentioned on the channel list in integrations, so it’s easiest to set the “All channels” permission to match what you want the most channels in the server to be. For example, if you have a ton of channels you want Dank Memer available in and only a few you want to restrict, then keep the “All channels” setting on and marked with a green checkmark. Click the “Add channels” button and add all the channels you do not want Dank Memer to be used in so they appear on the channel list. On each channel you do not want the bot available in, click the X button so it turns red. Specific channels disabled With these settings, Dank would not be available for the ones listed and marked with an X, but it would be available in any channel not on the list because of the “All channels” setting. Alternatively, if you have a lot of channels you want to restrict Dank Memer in and only a few where you want people to be able to use for the bot, you would want to mark the “All channels” setting with a red X to disable it everywhere. Then, add the channels you want Dank Memer in and mark them with a green checkmark. Specific channels enabled These settings would make it so Dank Memer is disabled in channels by default, and only the channels on the list with a green checkmark will have access. Remember, though, admins and server owners will always be able to use bot commands even if the channel settings have them restricted, so if you want to test your settings out you’ll need a non-admin member to help you. Permissions for Commands The last way you can customize command permissions is to restrict the usage of specific commands. When you look at the commands permission area, you’ll see a long list of all the commands possible for you to customize. Commands being synced People often use these settings to restrict commands like rob or bank rob if they want them accessible in one part of their server but not another, or to restrict access to the server settings or server event commands. For each command, you can customize whether it’s usable or not for a specific role, a specific channel, or the entire server. Command specific perms When you look, you’ll notice the permissions for each command will match the ones you already set for the roles and channels. You can customize the permissions for each command individually by adding further role, member, or channel restrictions. Just remember the @everyone role and “All channels” settings are what apply to anyone or any channel not listed. If you change a command to have different permissions than other commands, you’ll notice the status changes to “Not synced”. Not synced This just means the permissions for that specific command do not match the permissions for other commands. If you want to change the permissions of the not synced command to match the others again, you can click on the command to open the settings and press the “sync now” button. Sync to default perms In most cases, if you set up the role and channel permissions, you will not need to change much for the command permissions unless you want to customize where specific commands can be used further, such as game commands only being available in a game channel. Restricting Usage of Items The last step to setting up your server is to decide if you want to restrict users from using any items that are part of the bot. For example, some people like restricting the use of lootboxes to a flex channel so everyone can see the openings or disabling the Fart in a Bottle or Empowered Fart Bottle items so they cannot be used in the server. To disable the use of items, you use the /disableuse command. You can disable use for a specific person, a role, a channel, or the entire server. Disable use in the command picker Simply pick the type of /disableuse command you want to use and enter the name of the item. You can use /disableuse list to see all items that you have disabled in any way. Certain items being disabled If at some point you want to allow the item to be used again, look at the /disableuse list and see what number the item is, then do /disableuse remove (number). Optional Settings Beyond the permissions and settings described above, four other settings you can also look at when setting up the bot are rob protection, events manager, random event spawning, and emoji permissions. All of these settings are useful, but they’re not urgent to set up right away and are completely optional. Rob Protection** - This can be enabled to prevent new users who join the server from being able to rob for 24 hours. If your server allows robbing, rob protection can help people stay longer in your server so they aren’t joining to rob and leaving right after. If your server does not have robbing enabled, you can enable this for extra protection, but otherwise, you do not have to enable this setting as robbing won’t work for users at all. Events Manager** - If your server has 200+ members (excluding bots), the ability to run server events and giveaways will be available and you’ll want to designate an events manager for your server. Create a role for the people you want to manage events, and then under the Events Manager option in /serversettings, put the Discord ID for the role you created. Anyone who has the role you put for the Event Manager will have access to remove things from the server's pool of donations, so it’s recommended to make the role limited to a small group of users you fully trust. Random Events** - When users play Dank Memer there is a chance they can spawn a random event that has a mini-game like a trivia question or a boss to defeat. If you want to disable these events for any reason, you can go to this setting and click “Disable” to stop them from happening in the entire server. Emoji Permissions** - Currently there is sometimes a problem with emojis not showing up for the bot due to a discord issue. If you notice that emojis are not showing up and they appear as text instead, enable the ability for @everyone to use external emojis. You can do this by going to server settings, clicking on roles, and choosing “default permissions” at the top of the roles page. Scroll down through the options until you see “use external emojis” and make sure it is enabled and green. If you’ve done all of the above, your server should be all set and the bot is ready to be used! If you run into trouble while setting up Dank Memer, please make sure to visit our support server for help!

A Guide to Profile Customization

Accessibility TLDR: This article explains how to customize your Dank Memer profile by adding, removing, and rearranging information. Free and advanced customization options are available, and Patreon/premium users can add an image and choose a color for their profile. Do you have stats on your Dank Memer profile that you wish would disappear? Or maybe some you wish you could show that currently aren’t visible? Well customizing your profile is now easier than ever, and you can add, remove, and reorder almost every piece of information that is possible to show on your profile. Some customization options are free for all users, but others need to be purchased through the /advancements upgrades command. Read more below for all of the steps to customizing your profile. Simple Profile Customization A basic Dank Memer profile has the same stats for everyone: prestiges, omegas, badges, levels, coin and item info, command usage, pet stats, and a showcase. There is some simple profile customization you can do for free, including adding or changing the title that displays next to your name, adding your country, and writing a bio about yourself. Untitled If you want to customize the title next to your name on your profile, look at the titles you have available on your /title list, and then select the one you want to show with /title set. Titles are earned by reaching certain levels, completing badges or achievements, or winning special contests announced on the Dank Memer blog. To add your country and a bio to your profile, go to /settings and pick “Customize Your Profile” from the options. Click the “Edit Profile” button to open the editing view, and your profile will appear with three buttons beneath it. Untitled Click the button for what you want to change, and enter your information. For country, you can put the entire country’s name or enter the country code. For the bio, you can put anything you want to say, but make sure it follows Discord and Dank Memer TOS. Whatever you put for your country and bio will appear on your profile below your badges. Untitled For your showcase, it will be empty by default, but you can customize it by purchasing slots using the /showcase buy command and adding items you want to display with /showcase add. If you want to customize even further, then you’ll want to purchase the advanced profile customization upgrade for nearly complete control over what shows on your profile. Advanced Profile Customization Under the /advancements upgrades command you’ll see a variety of upgrades you can purchase to enhance your Dank Memer experience. One such upgrade is the Advanced Profile Customization option. You can read more about the other upgrades here. The Advanced Profile Customization Upgrade allows you to choose exactly what information is present on your profile. You can add information, remove information, and reorder it all to whatever you feel looks best. To purchase the upgrade, do the /advancements upgrades command and then click the buy button under the Advanced Profile Customization option. Untitled Once you’ve purchased the upgrade, do /settings, click the “Customize Your Profile” option from the drop-down list, and then click “Edit Profile” to open the full editing options. Advanced Customizing - The Basics When you first begin to edit your profile after purchasing the profile customization upgrade, you’ll notice new buttons have been added to the editing view. Untitled The drop-down menu that says “Level” at the top of the buttons tells you what category of information you are interacting with, such as levels, pets, work, showcase, etc. Click the down arrow next to the category name to browse all the possible categories you can display on your profile. There are tons of categories you can pick and choose from, but you currently can only show nine categories on your profile at a time. The second drop-down menu that says “Whole Module” tells you what info you are changing for the category you selected. For example, the level category has options like level, experience, and experience bar. Each category has different information you can choose to show or hide. Click the down arrow next to “Whole Module” to view the full list of info available for the selected category. Advanced Customizing - Adding and Removing If you want to add a new category of information to your profile, click on the top drop-down menu where it said “Level” and choose which section you want to add to your profile. A green check means it’s currently visible on your profile, and a red X means it is hidden. Untitled Once you’ve selected the hidden section you want to add, you’ll notice the second drop-down menu is now grayed out and you cannot click it. Untitled This is because the category is not visible on your profile yet, so you cannot edit the information in it. Click the “Show” button beneath the two drop-down menus to make the category visible on your profile. Once it is visible, the second drop-down menu will become available so you can pick and choose which info you want to make visible for that category. Click where it says “Whole Module” to view the available info for the selected category. Untitled Again, the red X means the info is hidden, and the green checkmark means it is currently showing. To make different info for a category, simply select the type of info you want to show, then click the “Show” button beneath the two menus and it will be added to your profile. If you want to hide info within a category so it is no longer on the profile, follow the same process as above, but instead select something with a green check mark and click “hide” to remove it. To remove an entire category of information, pick the category you want to hide in the first drop-down menu, make sure the second drop-down menu says “Whole Module”, and then when you click “Hide” it will remove the entire category from your profile. Advanced Customizing - Reordering Beyond adding and removing information, you can also reorder all of the categories and all of the information within each category throughout your profile. For the categories, think of your profile like a grid with nine possible spaces you can fill with information. Untitled You can move what is in each of the nine spaces left or right so it changes places with what is currently there, or you can reorder information within each category. You can’t leave blank spaces between categories of information, though, as each space will be filled going from left to right, top to bottom. To move categories around, select the category you want to move in the top drop-down menu, then make sure the second drop-down menu says “Whole Module” so you are editing the entire category as a whole. Then, use the “Move Left” and “Move Right” buttons and you’ll see the category move on the profile. If something is on the end of a row like the “Items” category in the picture above, clicking “Move Right” will make it go down to the next row. Untitled If you are on a mobile device, you may see all of the categories listed in a single line due to the smaller screen size. Clicking “Move Left” will move the categories up and “Move Right” down. The other type of reordering you can do is to reorganize the information showing within a category. To re-organize the information within a category, select the category you want to work on in the top drop-down menu, and then pick the information you want to move in the second drop-down menu. For example, to reorganize the Level category so “Experience” is shown first, choose “Level” for the category in the top menu and then “Experience” for the second menu. Untitled Notice how the “Move Left” and “Move Right” buttons now say “Move Up” and “Move Down” instead? This is because you are working with specific information within a category instead of the whole module. Click the “Move Up” button and the experience info will move up in the category. Untitled You can move any section on your profile, or any information within a section in this way, just remember the top drop-down menu tells you what category you are interacting with, and the second drop-down menu tells you what information you are changing within the category. Premium/Donor Profile Perks The final way you can customize your profile is only for Patreon or premium users. If you want to become a donor, check out the available subscriptions in the Dank Memer Store. Premium users who have purchased the advanced customization upgrade have a few extra ways they can customize their profile. First, premium users can have an image or a gif at the bottom of their profile, and second, they can pick a color to be added to the side of the profile embed. If you go to the “Customize Your Profile” option in settings and click “Edit Profile,” you’ll see two buttons, “Edit Color” and “Edit Image,” available. Untitled To add a color, click the “Edit Color” button, and if you are a donor, a text box will open. Enter the name of the color you want to use, such as blue, purple, or red, and then hit “Submit”. If you have an exact color in mind, you can also enter the hex color code for the color if you want to get a more exact match. Once the color is submitted, it will be added to your profile on the left side. Untitled If you want to add an image to your profile, you will need a link to the image that ends with .png, or .gif if you want to add a gif. To get the link, you can put the image or gif you want to use as a comment on Discord, right-click, and select “copy link.” For a gif, you may have to go to the website the gif is from for the correct link, or you may need to add .gif at the end for the link to work if it doesn’t already have it. On mobile, you’ll have to long press on the image, select share, and copy the URL. Once you’ve copied the link for the image or gif you want, click “Edit Image,” enter the link, and then submit. Once you’ve submitted it, the image will appear at the bottom of your profile below any other info you have visible. Untitled If you have issues with the image loading, you can also try uploading it to an imaging sight like Imgur to get a link that way instead. Customization Tips Each row of information on your profile is sized based on whichever category in the row is the largest, so if you have one long category of info and the rest in a row are short, it can lead to a lot of empty space. Rearranging so long categories are grouped together in the same row can help balance it and eliminate excess empty space. If you have nine categories of information already showing on your profile, you will have to hide one before you can add any more. When editing the text boxes for the country, profile bio, image, or color, you might get a message that tells you that you “canceled or abandoned the module.” This warning simply means the box you enter text in timed out, and you have to open a new one if you want to continue editing. If at any time you want to start over on your profile, you can click the red “Reset” button at the bottom of the customization options to make your profile revert back to its original appearance. Be warned, though, this cannot be undone once the profile is reset.

Premium Profile Read the full possibilities of customizing your profile and how it works here: dankmemer.lol/tutorial/profile-customization Monthly Coins Everyone can use a few extra coins now and then, and the Monthly Coins Upgrade gives you just that. Purchase this upgrade to gain access to the /monthly command. Run it once a month, any day of the month, and you’ll receive a few million coins for a nice pocket boost. Monthly Coins The command resets on the first of each month, so you don’t have to remember exactly when you did it before. You can even run it on the last day of one month and the first of the next and it will work, all that matters is that you run it one time per month to receive your coins. It may seem like an expensive upgrade for access to a single command, but within a few months you’ll have earned your money back and it’ll all be profit from there, so it’s definitely worth it. Refresh Button When browsing things like the market, it can be a pain to flip back and forth to update pages and see what has changed. The Refresh Button Upgrade makes the process faster by adding a handy refresh button to several commands, including market pages, inventories, leaderboards, and more! Refresh button Now you can click the gray refresh button to instantly update a page and see what has changed. It can be especially useful on the market when you are trying to snag the best deals! Net Worth Sort If you’ve ever wondered what item you own is making up the majority of your inventory, then Net Worth Sort is the perfect upgrade to try. This upgrade gives you the ability to change how your inventory is sorted, so instead of being sorted alphabetically, all of your items are sorted from what makes up the most of your net worth to what makes up the least. Net Worth Sorting If you want to revert your inventory back to the old alphabetical way of sorting, go to /settings, find the Net Worth Sort option, and click disable. Auto Lottery Never miss a lottery again with the Auto Lottery Upgrade! This upgrade allows you to set a specific amount of coins you want to enter into the lottery every hour. You can set the amount with /lottery auto (amount of tickets). Once you set the amount, it will begin taking the coins from you every hour to enter you into the lottery. Auto-Lottery In Action The coins are taken from your wallet at exactly the end of the hour, so don’t be worried if you don’t see any taken right away after setting the auto lottery up. It will only take coins from your wallet, not your bank, and if your wallet ever runs out of money the auto lottery will disable itself and send you a DM notification if you have DM notices enabled. If you need to enable DM notifications, you can do so in /settings. If you want to stop the auto lottery at any time, simply run /lottery auto and put the number of tickets as 0, and you’ll get a message telling you the auto lottery has been disabled. More Flows Sometimes it can be hard to decide which flow you want to use, especially if you are grinding commands for specific badges. Instead of constantly deleting a flow to record a new one, the More Flows Upgrade gives you the chance to save and keep more flows for yourself. It can be purchased multiple times, adding 5 more flow slots to your total with each purchase. The extra flows give you space to design specific flows for level grinding, one or two flows for grinding specific badges, or even an all-command grind. If you want to know more about flows, make sure to read the flow tutorial here. More Flows Upgrade More Pets The more pets upgrade allows you to increase your pet slots, so you can own up to 25 pets. To learn more about pet slots and the more pets upgrade, check out the pets tutorial here. User Leaderboards The User Leaderboards upgrade allows you to look at a summary of a specific user's rankings on all of the stats leaderboards, such as vote level, commands, net worth, etc. This can be useful if you want to see someone's rankings, but they are not high enough to be on the global leaderboard. If you purchase this upgrade, you can see a summary of any user's position, including yours. User Leaderboard Example New upgrades are constantly being added, so continue to check back in the future for more! You can also keep an eye on the changelogs so you know when a new one is available for you to try.

Farming!

Accessibility TLDR: Learn about /farm, where you can own multiple farms and plant crops like corn, watermelon, carrots, and more. Use farming tools like hoes, watering cans, and water buckets to manage your farm, and make sure to check on your plants to harvest them before they wilt. If you keep an empty space tilled and watered, surprising items might also appear. A Beautiful Farm Pepe has decided they want to be a farmer, and if Pepe gets to farm, everyone gets to farm. With the /farm, you can farm crops (obviously), and if you’re lucky, maybe even uncover some hidden treasures. To begin the laid-back farm life and make Pepe’s dreams come true, run /farm view to see your farmland and all of the options. Getting Started Every farmer starts out with one free farm plot that has nine empty squares of untouched dirt, ready to be tilled, watered, and planted full of crops. Farm view command Beneath your plot of land, you’ll see a few buttons: Manage:** Click to interact with your farm and begin growing crops. You can hoe, water, plant, fertilize, or harvest things from the manage button. Rename:** Give your farm a unique name. Change Skin:** If you’ve unlocked any farm skins, you can equip them with this button or the /skin select farm command to change your farm's appearance. Refresh:** The circular refresh button will update the command to show any changes. Buy Plot:** Use the Farm Processed Goods item to purchase a second or third farm to grow things on. You can craft Farm Processed Goods in the /craft command. After you purchase a plots, the button will change to a farm icon to represent the farm you own. Planting Crops Before you can plant crops, you’ll need to buy some tools. Run /shop view, and use the left and right arrows to browse the options. In the shop, you’ll see some seeds, watering cans, water buckets, and hoes to purchase. The shop rotates every few hours, so check back throughout the day to see all that is available. To start farming, purchase at least one hoe, one type of seed, and one watering can. Then, do /farm view to open your farm and click the “manage” button. Farm equipment menu. For each action on your farm, you can press the “all” button to do that action on all squares shown, or you can pick specific tiles to work on. If you only want to interact with one square of your farm, select “pick slots” to pick the exact square you want to interact with. If you want to do the same thing to every square, you can use the all button (hoe all, water all, etc). To grow crops, you need to: Use a hoe to till the land. Water the tilled land so it’s ready for seeds. Plant the seeds. (Optional) Use fertilizer to make the plants grow faster. Each fertilizer used cuts the grow time in half. Wait! Crops need time to grow, and growing takes time. Top of farm view showing plant grow times. After you’ve planted your crops, it will show the time before they’re ready to harvest at the top of the farm command. Each type of crop has a different amount of time it takes to grow, so plan ahead to be sure you can be there when the harvest is ready. Once they’re ready to harvest, click the harvest button and either harvest all, or pick slots you want to harvest. The crops will be added to your inventory, and some may give you some seeds back as well. Successfully harvested view You have a short time to harvest crops before they will wilt and go bad. The time stamp at the top of the farm command will change to show the time until the crops wilt so you know how long you have. Farm Cleanup After a harvest, you’ll notice the farm has gotten a bit messy. Every harvest leaves some debris behind that needs to be cleared before you can farm again. Farm cleanup To clear the mess, click the manage button and select the hoe. Use hoe all or pick the slots you want to hoe to prepare the area for new crops. Another type of mess you might find on the farm is wilted plants. Wilted Plants Once a plant is wilted, you can no longer get crops or seeds, and all you can do is remove it by harvesting the dead plant remains. Farm Boosts + Upgrades Throughout many commands on the bot you can earn farming boosts that will speed up grow times or allow you to instantly farm crops instead of waiting. Previously, these boosts automatically activated causing a lot of waste if people weren’t ready to farm. Now, all boosts you unlock are stored in /farm boosts so you can activate them when ready. Farm boost storage. You can only activate ONE boost at a time, so you’ll have to pick and choose what you need. For faster farm speeds, activate the boost first, then plant your crops so the speed applies. For boosts that instantly grow plants, you need to plant your crops first, then use the boost. If you want even more for your farm, you can purchase farm upgrades and boosts in the /farm store using the Farm Processed Goods item. Farm store command. You can craft Farm Processed Goods in the /craft command. The farm upgrades available are permanent and do not expire, but you can only buy a certain amount. Most of the boosts work the same as other boosts you can collect, though some like “fertile soil” might activate instantly, so be ready to use it when you purchase it just in case. Farming Tips Elf on the Shelf** - Use the “Elf on the Shelf” item and the elf will watch over your farm for 7 days and send you a DM when your crops are ready to harvest. Farm Settings** - You can customize what the “harvest all” button will harvest in your farm settings on the user dashboard in /settings. Fertilizer** - Want your plants to grow faster? Use fertilizer to cut the current grow time in half until only a few minutes are left. Fertilizer can be crafted with /craft or purchased on the market. Removing Mistakes** - Make a move you regret? If you plant seeds you didn’t mean to, you can get them back by harvesting the spot early with the “pick slot” option instead of harvest all. Harvest can be used to remove most unwanted things, except tilling and watering. If you want to remove tilling or watering, simply leave the farm alone for a few hours, and they will fade to make the farm like new again. Surprise Guests** - Sometimes surprising things will appear in empty tilled spaces on your farm, like diamonds and worms! When you see these, you can harvest them to remove them, and whatever it is will be added to your inventory. Water Buckets** - Water buckets are another way to water your farm. When you place a bucket on the farm, it automatically keeps all the squares around it clean and watered, so you’ll won't have to clean up after a harvest or use a hoe or watering can until the bucket expires. To use a water bucket, you need a flat, empty space. If you don't have one, use a hoe on a tile and then leave it alone for around 1 hour until it looks like a new farm, then you can place the water bucket. You won’t be able to plant where the water bucket is, but if you till the tiles around the bucket, they will all be ready to use. After around 24 hours, the water will get dirty and stop working. Wait a few more hours and it will disappear, or use the harvest button and pick the exact slot to remove the water (not harvest all).

Flows: The All-New Way to Grind

Accessibility TLDR: The flow system is a new way to initiate commands, allowing users to create a list of up to 25 commands that can be initiated with the push of a button instead of typing them out. This article teaches users how to create, use, and remove flows, as well as providing tips for using them effectively. Before flows, you had to type every command one by one as you were grinding, and for mobile users especially, it could be slow, clunky, and not worth the effort. With our new flow system, you can create a list of up to 25 commands that you want to perform, and once you start the flow, you can initiate each command with the push of a button instead of having to type it out, and every command gives the same XP and rewards that they always give! No more wasted time when grinding while you type out the next command. No more waiting for command prompts to load so you can fill out each field. Flows are nothing but pure, effortless grind, faster and easier than even the “pls” prefix ever was. Create a Flow Creating a flow is quick and easy. To begin, do /flow record and you’ll see a message like the one below to let you know the recording has started. Creating a flow This doesn’t record your screen or anything like that — all the recording feature does is keep track of the commands you perform until the recording is stopped. Once you begin the recording by doing /flow record, do the commands you want to add to your flow in the order you want to use them. Commands will show up in the order you give, so make sure the order you do them is the way you want to use the commands later, and try to avoid hitting cooldowns or you’ll hit them again when using the flow. Once you hit 25 commands, the recording will automatically stop. If you want to stop before you reach 25 commands, simply do /flow record a second time. After the recording ends, you'll see a message showing you a list of the commands you did similar to the image below. List of commands Click “save” to save the flow so it will be added to your /flow list, or click “discard” if you don’t like the order and want to try again. When you click “save,” you’ll be asked to give the flow a name. Make sure the name is unique so you remember which flow is which. Using a Flow Every user has been given an example flow to try out. To use the example flow, or to use a flow of your own, do /flow start (flow name). If you forget what you've named your flows, you can check by looking at your /flow list. Once you begin a flow with /flow start, you will see an ephemeral message (a message only you can see) giving you options to run the first command of your flow, skip the command, or end the flow. Active Flow Click the “run” button to perform the first command. After the command finishes, another ephemeral message will pop up, giving you the option to run the next command in the list. You'll notice the message also shows you the three upcoming commands so you can remember what you planned and can decide if you want to skip a command or end the flow. The flow will continue as long as you want to use it, cycling through all the commands you programmed and starting over each time you get to the end. If you need to do a command that is not in your flow, go ahead! This won't mess up your flow at all, and the command message for your flow will simply continue to appear after each non-flow command you run. If you hit a cooldown while running a flow, you'll notice the message giving you the next command won't appear. Instead, you have to go back to the last flow message you received and try again until the cooldown is over, or click “skip” to move to the next command instead. You can also run a command yourself and the flow message will pop up again after. If you want to stop using your flow, simply hit the "end" button at any time. Editing a Flow If you make a mistake when creating a flow, or if you find you are hitting cooldowns on a command, you can edit a flow to fix it as long as you originally created the flow. To edit, do /flow list and click the “edit flow” button to bring up the editing options. Example of editing a flow. You can use the up and down buttons to move the small arrow to the command you want to edit. If you want to remove a command, you simply move the arrow to the command and then click “remove” to update the flow. If you want to add a condition to a command so it only runs under specific circumstances, point the arrow to the command you want to edit, and then use the “add a condition” drop-down menu. When adding a condition, you have to select all of the details at once before you close the drop-down menu. Currently, you can set conditions based on your pocket balance or the command cooldown. Example Conditions: “pocket > 1,000,000” would mean you want the command to run only when your pocket balance is greater than 1 million coins. “cooldown < 5” would mean you want the command to run only when its cooldown is less than 5 seconds. “cooldown = 0” would mean you want the command to run when the cooldown is over, and the command is able to be used. Once you finish updating the flow however you want, click the “go back” button to exit. Keep in mind only the original flow creator can edit a flow — and once you edit a flow, it changes it for everyone! Adding and Removing Flows There are two ways you can add a flow for yourself. The first is to create a flow of your own, as described above. The second is to copy a flow from someone else. If you like a friend's flow list and you want to use it for yourself, copy the ID code at the bottom of the /flow list you want to use. Getting flow ID Once you copy the ID you want to use, do /flow list and click the "Import a Flow" button. Enter the code from your friends' flow, and it will be added to your /flow list so you can use it any time you want. If you ever decide you want to remove a flow, you can find the flow on your /flow list and click the "Remove this Flow" button. Be careful, though, as there is no confirmation! Tips for Flows The flow ephemeral message will follow you as you do commands, so you can change channels, change servers, or even move to DMs. Simply do a command where you want to grind, and an updated flow message will appear for you to use. Each user gets two free flow spots to start. The example flow will be using a free spot at first, so you'll have to remove the example flow if you want to add or create more than one flow of your own. If you want more flows, you can purchase additional space in /advancement upgrades. Try to give your flows memorable names, because if you give it a generic name, a flow you import could be named the same thing and you will have trouble finding the one you want when you try to start a flow Also, remember flow names cannot be edited, so choose carefully! You can put any command in a flow except market commands and commands that involve entering a user name (like /use, /rob), so you can check your balance, work, do adventures, or even care for your pets if you want. Lastly, cooldowns still exist! If you find you're hitting a lot of cooldowns while using your flow, try redoing it with a few more commands in the mix until you find a good balance.

Partial Acceptance

You can accept PART of an order by using the accept command, if the post author allowed it. Use the optional quantity argument like the image below. (/market accept id:x quantity:x) Foo Alternatively, you can just hit the [Accept {id}] Button on the market view embed and it will fulfill the max possible for your inventory!

Drop Items

What are Drops? Drops are special sale events where users can buy something (items, skins, boosts, etc.) for a set period of time. Usually, drops have a limited stock, and each user can only buy a certain amount. When the drop time is over, or the stock runs out, no more can be bought from the drop. Sometimes, drops have exclusive items you can only purchase when there is a drop event, and other times there are random items, skins, multipliers, etc., available for a fun special sale. View Upcoming Drops The /drops command will show you upcoming drops that are currently scheduled. Example of upcoming drops When viewing upcoming drops, you can see what will be dropping, the time and date of the drop in your time zone, and the price and stock of the drop. Sometimes, more information about upcoming drops is released in the Dank Memer Community server in the #sneak peeks channel a few days before. Some drops are limited to premium users only, so make sure to check for these details when planning for a drop. If the drop says “Supporters Only” next to it, that means you must be a premium user subscribing through Patreon or the Dank Memer Website to purchase from the drop. Buying Drops When the drop begins, you can do /drops or use the refresh button on an old command to see the full information for the drop, including the cost, stock, amount per user, and end time. Example of drop info At the bottom of the drop embed, you will also see buttons to buy one or max of the drop. If you want to purchase, click the buttons on your /drops embed or on any other user’s embed, and an ephemeral message (a message only you can see) will pop up with a confirmation button. Most drops sell out quickly, so you should purchase as soon as possible if you are interested in buying. Some drop items even sell out in seconds. Should you buy drops? Drop items can be extremely rare if they are drop-exclusive items, and since they have a limited stock when released, they can be hard to find later. If you want to grab one or two for your collection, buying the drop when it is released is a great idea, as there is no way to predict how expensive it may be later. If you are looking to invest, drop-exclusive items can be a great investment because if someone does start to collect, the prices can skyrocket since there is a limited quantity available. However, they can also be a risky investment. Look at these old stats on past drops and how high some drop items increased when people started collecting: https://dankmemer.lol/community/blog/drop-item-lookback. Compare the prices from the drop item blog above to the current market prices, and you can see how the prices have fluctuated over time. The blog shows there is a lot of room to profit on drops if someone starts collecting, but as the excitement dies down, the value can crash. There are no guarantees, so be careful how much you invest.

Being Blocked

What does this mean? The user you're trying to interact with you has blocked you through Dank Memer. They used the /block command and specifically mentioned you. Is this the same as Discord Blocking? No. Discord blocks are specifically for the Discord client. These blocks are for only certain aspects of our bot. How long is this block? This block is permanent until the user decides to unblock you Why did this user block me? We are not privy to this information. However, we allow users to block each other for any reason without question, we will not police users blocking each other. There are also no rules pertaining to who can block who. What does this prevent me from doing? The point of a block is to prevent a user who is annoying you, from annoying you. Things that are blocked while being blocked include but are not necessarily limited to the following: Trade offers Text messages and Postcards Game/Wager/Fight requests The following items are NOT stopped by being blocked: Using items on them Stealing from them Checking their balance/profile/inventory

Server Dashboard

Accessibility TLDR: The Server Dashboard is a place where server owners and admins can make their server discoverable to Dank Memer users, control Dank Memer permissions, update rob settings, manage the server pool, and more. What is the Server Dashboard The server dashboard is where a server owner or admin can manage some of the basic Dank Memer settings for their server. From the dashboard, you can enable or disable robbing, control who can access your server pool, make your server available to other Dank Memer players, and more. Both server owners and admins can change settings on the dashboard; however, any settings with a crown beside them mean only the owner can change them. Server Owner only setting symbol. What is Discovery Discovery is a new way to find Dank Memer servers and a way for servers to advertise to Dank Memer players. On the Discovery page, users can see the server’s name and owner, whether the server is premium, whether robbing is enabled, and when the last Mythical Fish event happened. If a server enables robbing, it will not take effect for 24 hours, so servers can’t use mythical fish spawns to trick users into joining to be robbed. To make your server eligible to appear on the Discovery page, go to the Discovery section on the server dashboard. First, fill out a description for your server and add a permanent invite link for your server. Then, enable Discovery, and your server may appear on the Discovery page the next time a Mythical Fish spawns. Enable and Disable examples. For now, Discovery will only show servers that have recently spawned Mythical Fish, but in the future, there may be more ways to make your server at the top of the list. How to Manage Command and Item Permissions The server dashboard allows you to completely control permissions for Dank Memer's use in your server. Whatever you change on the dashboard will change the integrations page on your server, so you can easily adjust Dank’s settings all in one place. To change the bot’s permissions, go to the “permissions” section under settings on the dashboard. There, you can add and remove rules for commands and items. Editing server permissions. First, choose what sort of rule you want to create. Command = You want to create a rule for where a command may be used or who may use the command. Category = You want to enable or disable an entire category of commands. Auto Response = You want to disable one of the auto response options like dad jokes. Item = You want to change permissions for where an item may be used or who may use it. Once you’ve selected what you want to make the rule about, select the exact command, category, auto-response, or item the rule is for. Then select whether the rule is for a specific channel, category, role, or user, and enter the exact name or id for what you want the rule to apply to. Once you click save, any integration settings on Discord will be updated to match as needed and the rule will be applied to your server. Admins and owners are both able to change permission settings for a server, and any changes will apply to both pls commands and slash commands. How to Manage Rob Settings If you go to the settings page of the Server Dashboard and click on the "general" section, you can enable or disable three settings related to robbing in a server. Bank Robbing - If bank robbing is enabled, users will be able to hold heists on each other’s banks to try to steal money. If disabled, bank robbing will not be possible. Rob Protection - If rob protection is enabled, new users who join your server will not be able to rob until they’ve been there for at least 24 hours. If disabled, users will be able to join your server to rob immediately. Robbing also has to be enabled for this setting to have any effect. Robbing - If robbing is enabled, users will be able to rob each other’s wallets. If disabled, users will not be able to rob each other. The Bank Robbing and Robbing settings can only be changed by the server owner. If a server owner changes these settings, the change will take 24 hours before it works to help prevent scamming. How to Manager Your Server Pool On the server pool page of the dashboard, you can see a complete overview of your server pool's activities. You can search your server pool to see what is in it, browse what has been donated, and check the logs for what has been removed. There are two emergency settings at the top of the server pool page where the server owner can disable all donations and payouts. For example, if there is a raid, the server owner could go to the dashboard and disable donations and payouts to stop the server pool from being stolen. There is also an “Emergency Lock” button available on the home page of your server dashboard if needed. The emergency lock is another way to immediately disable donations and payouts for your server pool. On the settings page of the dashboard in the "general" section, you can control who has access to your server pool. If you want to have one role that controls all server events and payouts, you can assign an Event Manager. The Event Manager setting will give anyone with the role you enter complete access to run any events and make payouts from the server pool. If you want more control over who can perform each type of event, use the event override settings. If an override role is assigned for a specific server event, like server heists, only that override role will be able to run server heists, and even the event manager will not have access. What are Random Events Random events are unique server events that can randomly happen to help encourage users to play Dank Memer in your server. Currently, the only random event available is a Mythical Fish event. When a Mythical Fish random event spawns, users fishing in your server have a chance to catch the mythical fish at the locations listed for a short time. If your server is discoverable, your server may appear on the discovery page so users know the event is happening and have a chance to join. To help users in your server know the event is happening, use the random events page under settings to assign a channel where event announcements can be posted. When a random event happens, Dank Memer will post to let server members know and will provide details, such as where to find the fish, what tools to use, and when the event will end. Premium servers have a higher chance for Mythical Fish to spawn. Keep an eye on changelogs for more random event types to be released in the future. What is the Audit Log? The dashboard's Audit Log page shows all changes made to Dank Settings for the server. So, if anyone changes something, like who the event manager is or activates premium, you’ll see it in the server audit logs. All users can also view the audit logs with the /audit command. If you need help setting up command permissions in your server, read the set up tutorial for more information.

Mythical Fish

Accessibility TLDR: Mythical Fish are unique fish available only during server events. You need to use specific tools to catch them and fish at certain locations. They do not count toward the Angler Badge or completion stats, but it is exciting to try to collect them all. Mythical Fish spawn announcement. What are Mythical Fish? Mythical Fish are unique new creatures you can catch while fishing with Dank Memer. Each Mythical creature is only available through random server events that can happen at any time. Unlike past random events, the Mythical Fish events are not triggered by user activity and can happen in any server with Dank Memer in it at any time. Servers can use their server dashboard to set up a channel where an announcement will be posted when a Mythical Fish is available to be caught. The fish can only be caught when the random event is ongoing. Premium servers have 2x the chance for a Mythical Fish to spawn. The Discovery page on the Dank Memer website will list servers where Mythical Fish have spawned recently, so you can join and try to catch one. How to catch Mythical Fish? When a random event spawns in one of your servers, get fishing! The announcement will tell you what the Mythical Fish looks like, where you can catch it, and what tools you can use. Each Mythical Fish can be in multiple locations at once, so pay attention to where it is available so you don’t miss out. If you have the Keen Angler skill, the mythical fish will show their shadows like any other creature. You’ll have a short period of time (3 hours) to catch the Mythical Fish before it is gone. If you are struggling, there is a Mythical Hunter skill you in /fish skills you can use to increase your chances. Do Mythical Fish count for completion stats or badges? The Mythical Fish do not count toward the Seasoned Angler badge and are only added to your fish guide once you’ve caught one. Once one has been caught, you’ll see it on the location page where you caught it and it will have a page of its own like any other fish. To see a list of all possible Mythical fish, visit the fishing page on the Dank Memer website.

Trick or Treat Rules & Verification

This event is LIMITED TIME and only available on Halloween in 2024. Server-Hopping This event obviously encourages people to visit outside servers, but WHEN you do so we expect the following: Follow each server's rules Be respectful Do not cause or further drama for those servers Those were expectations to help keep things civil, but we also have some recommendations as well: Stay a while if the server looks neat, as a thank you for that server letting you visit and use them for this event If you have coins to spare, donate a small amount to any servers (via serverevents) being super welcoming and accommodating to visiting players to help them grow their communities Alts To be clear, using alts is not against the rules for this event. HOWEVER, alts will be tracked and not count towards servers winning the event. The server leaderboards are pre-verification. Once the event is over, we will take a few days to look over the top servers to pick who actually won once alts are filtered out and we'll announce those winners in our next Pixel Progressions post on the first Wednesday in November. Incentives Servers are allowed to incentivize people to trick or treat in their server by paying them from their server pool or by doing giveaways/server events or by giving away gem packs from our store. Servers are not allowed to incentivize people with any real money, discord nitro, or other currency outside of Dank currency. Non-currency incentives (roles, channel access, etc) are fine, we just want to avoid any RMT situations. Dank Memer Community Dank Memer community has the trick or treat command enabled and will likely be on the leaderboard due to our size, but we are NOT eligible to win the server competition. While DMC "natives" would probably love to see us win, we hold an advantage we find too unfair with being an official server. Robbing There is a strong possibility you can be robbed while hopping servers to trick or treat. You need to take steps to avoid this with passive mode, as it is not against the rules for servers with robbing enabled to rob passing users. You can enable passive mode in your dashboard. Event Confusion If you made it through this and you don't even understand what the event is... For about 24 hours on Halloween you can run /trickortreat (or pls trickortreat or pls tot) to gather a single reward from a server you're in. You can do this once per server during this event, gathering small rewards ranging from titles to candy. It's a very low reward, zero risk, event to celebrate the end of spooky month!

Pet Rooms and Stasis

Accessibility TLDR: Pets are stored in pet rooms. You can keep 5 pets per room, and have 10 rooms total. Extra pets are frozen in pet stasis until you make space for them, sell them, or disown them. You can decorate your rooms with unique cosmetics to create cool designs. What are pet rooms? Pet rooms are the new way to store and manage your pets, replacing the old pet slots and slot upgrades. Pet rooms allow you to view your pets together, help control breeding and fighting, and let you create unique environments for your pets. To begin, everyone starts with one room. Each room can hold up to five pets, and users can own up to 10 rooms (50 pets). You can view your current rooms or purchase more with the /pets rooms command. Pets rooms command. If you click where it shows your room number, you can use the dropdown to switch between rooms. The dropdown will also show if you can purchase more rooms. Pets can only interact with other pets within the same room. If you have pets that often fight, you can stop it by separating them into different rooms. Pet rooms also help control pet breeding. You can put pets together to breed, or separate them to prevent breeding. Read more about breeding pets here. Another benefit of the pet room system is the pet sitters! Now, you can hire sitters to watch over your pets. You can use the /pets sitter command to hire a sitter to watch one or more of your pets, so you can focus on a few pets or take a break completely. If you want to move pets between rooms, you can use the edit button. Read more about that below in the section on decorations. Decorating Rooms Every pet room can be customized. You can edit your rooms using the /pets rooms command or the online dashboard here: https://dankmemer.lol/dashboard/pets/rooms. The online dashboard is faster and easier to use, but everything you do there can also be done on the bot. When editing, you can name the room, move pets to different rooms, and decorate with a variety of room cosmetics. There are tons of unique wall designs, floors, windows, doors, paintings, and more. If you want to decorate your room, start with the /pets rooms command and select the room you want to work on. Then, click the “edit” button to reveal your options. Pets rooms decorating buttons. The “Type” dropdown will allow you to select what you want to change. You can select “pets” to move your pets to different rooms, or choose walls, windows, doors, floors, and wall and floor decorations to begin decorating. The slot option will allow you to pick where you want to place the decoration, and then the style choice will let you browse your options. If you decide you don’t like how a decoration looks in one spot, make sure to select “none” for the style before switching to a different slot, or you can end up with the same decoration in two places. Once you finish everything, you can click “go back” to return to the main rooms menu. The pet room cosmetics can be found all over the bot, from grind commands, fetch rewards, the gem shop, fish shop, and even in skeleton keys. Over time, more will most likely be added, so you’ll always have options to update your rooms. Pets Stasis If you somehow end up with more pets than you have space for, the extra pets will be put into /pets stasis. Pet stasis is a holding area for excess pets. Pets in stasis are frozen, so you can’t interact with them. When a pet is taken out of stasis, it will sleep for six hours to recover. Pet stasis embed. Pet stasis can help you never miss out on exclusive pets by allowing you to make room for a new pet to be accepted without having to get rid of any pets. For some exclusive pet rewards, like from adventures and achievements, the pets will automatically go into stasis if your rooms are full. But for most other sources, such as breeding and the pet shop, you'll still need an open spot in one of your rooms to be able to claim a pet. If you need space, you can move pets from your rooms to stasis to make an open space. If you aren't sure if a pet needs an open space to be claimed, the best thing to do is to make space in your room so you don't miss out. Another benefit of pet stasis is that it allows you to sell pets on the market. Any pet in stasis can be sold on the market. If you love breeding pets, you can start a mini pet shop by breeding pets, putting the babies in stasis, and then selling them on the market to others. However you use your rooms and stasis, they offer a lot of flexibility to make managing and caring for your pets easier than ever. You can read more about how to care for your pets here: https://dankmemer.lol/tutorials/pet-basics

Pet Training and Skills

Accessibility TLDR: Level up your pets to earn training points, then train them with /pets view to help them survive longer, fetch items, and more. If you level up enough to prestige, you can use a Pet Collar to make the pet able to learn skills. Skills can help your pets breed more easily, stop them from fighting, and even make them bring double the fetch rewards. If you want to make the most of your pets, then training and teaching them skills is the smartest choice. With the right combination, your pets can hunt more and better items, require less care, breed faster, and even protect you against robbers. Pet Training As you care for your pet with /pets care, your pet will earn XP and level up. Each time you level up, you will earn training points for your pet until you have 35 points. Pet training points. When you earn a point, do the /pets view command and click manage to find the train button. You can train your pet in four areas: Attack** - Increase the attack stat to make your pet’s attack more effective. The higher the stat, the more likely your pet will kill robbers when defending you. Defense** - Increase the defense stat to have better protection against robbers. The higher the stat, the more likely your pet will stop a robbery. Sustainability** - Increase the sustainability stat to make your pet last a bit longer before you have to care for it again. Hunting** - Add at least one point to the hunting stat if you want your pet to be able to fetch and hunt items for you. The higher this stat is, the better items your pet can find. At a certain point, your pet will be high enough level that you can prestige it from the /pets view command. When your pet prestiges, it loses all of its training points except the 5 it starts with, and you’ll have to level it back up again to re-train the skills. Once you prestige your pet, you unlock the ability to teach it more advanced pet skills that have better perks. Pet Skills Each time you prestige a pet, it gets one prestige point. Prestige points can be used to teach your pet skills. Skills are more advanced abilities that are permanent and not lost with future prestiges. In order to use your prestige points, your pet needs a Pet Collar. Pet Collars can be purchased on the market, found from the Veterinarian job, or found in Work Boxes. Use a Pet Collar and apply it to the pet you want to teach a skill to. Pet collar usage embed. After your pet has a collar, you’ll see it says it is “Domesticated”. If it also has at least one prestige, it’s time for some skills. Do /pets view, click the manage button, then the skills button. Available Skills: Sturdy** - After pets fight, they end up sleeping, which can make it hard to care for them. This skill removes their need to sleep after a fight. Immunized** - This skill helps pets recover from sickness much faster. Therapized** - If your pets are fighting a lot, you can use the therapized skill to make them more peaceful. Loving** - Use this skill for a better chance of successful pet breeding. Impatient** - When your pets fall in love, it takes 3 days to learn if they’ll breed or not. If you use this skill, they’ll decide much faster, so you don’t have to wait. Grindy** - Earn more pet XP while caring for your pets so they level up faster. Insomniac** - Some pets sleep more often than others. If your pet sleeps too much for you, use the insomniac skill so it never sleeps on its own. Lucky** - If you’re all about pet hunt rewards, the lucky skill gives you a small chance to receive double the rewards. Socially Distanced** - Use this to keep your pet from spreading sickness to others. Budgeting** - This skill helps make caring for your pet cheaper. Eunuch** - Use this skill to prevent your pets from breeding. Once you set your pet to learn a skill, it takes 3 days for it to finish. If you want to make your pet learn faster, you can skip the learning time with gems or by using the Pet Feeder item. The skills your pet learns are permanent unless you sell it on the market. If you sell it on the market, it loses the Pet Collar and any skills it knows, so the buyer can customize it the way they want. If you need help figuring out how to level up your pets so you can prestige them, you can read more about basic pet care and features in the pets tutorial here: https://dankmemer.lol/tutorials/pet-basics

Pet Basics

Accessibility TLDR: Collect and care for a variety of pet species. Purchase basic pets with the /pets buy command, or discover rarer ones through adventures, the gem shop, achievements, and more. Pets are stored in rooms that you can decorate and customize. Use the /pets care command to keep your pets healthy, and manage and teach them skills with /pets view. If you are busy, use /pets sitter to care for your pets. For a challenge, you can breed pets and sell them on the market. The Dank Memer pet system has gotten a massive upgrade. It has all-new embed designs, more interactive mini games, pet skills to unlock, pet rooms to decorate, and you can even sell pets on the market now! Whether you're all about the free hunting rewards or you want to level up and show off your pet collection, there is something for every type of pet owner. Read all about it below, or jump to the section you need: Obtaining Pets Basic Pet Care Neglected Pets Pet Sitters Pet Breeding Obtaining Pets To begin your pet journey, you need to find a pet. Pets can be purchased with /pets buy, or obtained from places like adventures, fishing NPCs, fish season passes, the gem shop, the Dank Memer Store, level rewards, the market, and more. The easiest place to start is the /pets buy command. If you click on the drop-down menu, you can view all of the basic pets you can purchase with coins. The pets buy command. When viewing the command, there are three pieces of information to pay attention to: The Buy Button** - If you can’t press it, you either don’t have enough money or space to purchase the pet. Friendly** - Pets that are friendly with each other can breed if kept in the same room. Hostile** - Pets that are hostile with each other may fight and lose levels if kept in the same room. You can also see the information about friendly and hostile pets on the /pets view command by clicking the “info” button. As you collect pets, they’ll be stored in your pet rooms. Each player has four rooms by default, and each room can hold up to 5 pets. You can own up to 10 rooms (50 playable pets). You can use /pets rooms to view and organize your pets, purchase more rooms, or decorate your rooms. If you ever end up with more pets than you have room for, they will go into a holding area called /pets stasis, where they will be frozen until you make space for them. Read more about pet stasis and pet rooms here. Basic Pet Care Once you have a pet, it needs to be fed and interacted with to keep it happy and feeling loved. If your pet stays happy, it may bring you items or rewards. Pets you own may also visit you while you’re running other commands, such as search, crime, beg, and stream. To care for your pet, use the /pets care command. There, you can browse through all the active pets you own and view their basic needs. Pets care options. When caring for your pet, there are a few ways you can interact: Feed** - Use pet food to feed your pet, or coins if you have no food. Wash** - Give your pet a bath. Play** - Complete a mini-game with your pet, such as unscrambling a word. A pet mini game. Hug** - Show your pet you love it with a hug. Fetch** - If your pet is trained, send it hunting for rewards. Your pet will leave for an hour or so. After an hour, use /pets activity to see what you received. Walk** - After you walk your pet, it will sleep, and you won’t be able to interact with it for a short time. Pets may also randomly sleep when their energy is low. Drug** - Buy your pet a temporary boost and “drug” it for 24 hours, so it returns from fetching faster, gains more pet XP, and appears more often while you’re running commands. The pet will also lose stats faster, which means it needs more attention and care. Every time you take care of your pet, the pet will earn some XP and can level up. When your pet levels up, it can earn training points you can use to increase some of its abilities. You can use training points on the /pets view command. If you level it up enough, you can prestige your pet. A prestiged pet can be taught skills that give it new abilities. Learn more about pet training and skills here. Neglected Pets At the end of each UTC day, you’ll receive a pet activity report that will tell you what your pets did that day. Pets can fight, fall in love, get sick, hunt items, and more. If you neglect your pets and let their love stat on /pets view get low, they will begin to lose levels and eventually get sick. Pet activity report with a lot of sick pets. Once a pet is sick, your ability to interact with it is limited, and it will no longer go hunting. Sick pets can also spread the sickness to other pets within the same room. Prestiged pets have a small chance to recover from sickness on their own, but if other pets in the room are sick, the recovering pet can quickly become sick again. The best way to cure sickness is to use Pet Medicine. Pet Medicine can be found in the coin shop or on the market. When recovering, your pet won’t want to play or fetch. Pet Sitters If you love your pets but don't enjoy the daily chore of caring for them, or life has gotten a bit busy, you don’t have to neglect them! Instead, hire a sitter from the /pets sitter command to keep your pets from losing levels. Pet sitter command view. There are a few pet sitters to choose from, and every pet sitter has positives and negatives. For example, Winston seems to make pets fight, even ones that aren’t normally hostile to each other. Martha makes your pets more active, but the star means she’s a sitter for premium members only. To hire a sitter, first pick which pet rooms you want the sitter to supervise. Then, check that you have enough money and food to pay the fee. The fee is per room, per day. Once you click start, it will charge the first day’s fee. You will not get a refund if you stop the pet sitter early. If you continue to use the pet sitter, the fee will be charged every 24 hours until you click stop on the /pets sitter command or run out of money and food. While active, your pet sitter will send you updates every 8 hours to let you know how your pets are doing. Your pets will level up while using a sitter, but it will be slower than if you cared for them yourself. Some sitters allow your pets to fetch, but others won’t. Read the descriptions to learn more about who you hire. Pet Breeding For a bit of extra fun, you can breed many of your favorite pets to create more. When you breed pets, the baby will be the same species as one of its parents. To Breed Pets: Find a pet that shows as “friendly to” another pet. You can find the information on the /pets buy command for common pets, or on the info tab on the /pets view command for pets you own. Put the two pets you want to breed into the same pet room. You can move pets between rooms with the /pets rooms command. Make sure the room has at least one open spot for the baby pet. Care for your pets and keep them happy. Look for news that your pets have fallen in love on your daily Pet Activity DM, or use the /pets activity command to check more often. Once two pets have fallen in love, there’s a chance they will have a baby after 3 days. If your pets don’t have a baby, they will fall out of love, and you have to start over. If they do have a baby, you’ll see it in your Pets Activity notice, and the new baby pet will be in the room. Pet birth announcement. To increase the chance of your pets having a baby during the love period, train one or both of your pets with the Loving skill. If you want your pets to decide if they’ll have a baby faster than 3 days, you can train them with the Impatient skill. You can learn more about pet skills here. If you enjoy breeding pets, you can basically run a little pet shop and sell the babies with the market command. Any pets you want to sell need to be put in pet stasis first. If at some point you end up with too many pets, you can also disown a few from the /pets view command or store them in stasis. As you care for your pets, there’s plenty to explore beyond fetching items and raising babies. Fight your pets against others, customize them with unique skins, give them special names, and decorate your rooms to match your style. Whatever you do, play the way that works for you — but at least try not to neglect your poor pets!

Merchant Trading

Accessibility TLDR: You can access a unique daily stock of trades via the /trade command with the NPC merchant. Some things have stock, some do not. The trades are randomized daily. You can also upvote or downvote things you do or don't like. By using the /trade command you can visit the traveling merchant NPC. Below are a list of common questions and answers about this system and how it works. Is it the same for everybody? The merchant has the same offering and reset time for everyone globally. Why are the offers so bad/good? The merchant's stock is pulling semi-randomly from a list of approved general ranges of trade values. Some are amazing deals, some are worse deals than you may get from grinding or the market. If you feel a trade is very good, or very bad, use the vote buttons to log this data for developers when a balance pass is made. What's with the upvote/downvote buttons? We often release a new feature and then do google forms polls asking for player sentiment. This time, we thought it would be cool to have a built in feature that gets us this polling data on a PER TRADE basis. If you vote on a particular trade in either direction, that is logged and in the future when the development team is making balance passes, they will see both this voting data as well as the purchase history. If you are worried about this being "gamed" or "rigged" or "faked by alts", do not worry. This vote does not do anything, and it is not a source of truth for future balance just like those occasional polls are not the source of truth. Just a data point for us to see! I have a suggestion for a trade, where can I send it? In Dank Memer Community server, there's a bot suggestions channel. You can send a trade suggestion as a rough idea, and not as an exact trade. For instance, you can suggest "god box for dev box" but not exact numbers, as we'll do the balancing on exact numbers in the back end. Get crazy with it too! My favorite possibility currently is ducks for luck multipliers. Will the trade change in the middle of the day? Yes, it's possible. If this happens, it will be because a trade was either absurdly too good or absurdly too bad. Ideally this will not NEED to happen ever, however!

Simple Fishing

Accessibility TLDR: Simple fishing is a simple way to make some extra coins with a bit of "fish flavor" for those who don't want the complexity of the full fishing system. It is opt in which then opts you out of full fishing. How to enable/disable To turn off/on simple fishing mode, you can go to your /fish settings and enable it from that list. If you have it enabled, all other fishing related menus or commands will no longer work, as you have opted out of the fishing system and into the simple fishing system. You can opt out or in at any time with no penalty. The rewards The fish you see being "caught" in simple fishing are just for some excitement, and are not received as if you are fishing in the full system. They are instantly converted into a reward from the loot table, completely unrelated to the fishing system's fish values. The coins in this table are multiplied as well. You can essentially see this system and loot table as identical to the beg command, with slightly different values and no items being awarded. The intention We've gotten feedback that some people just don't care to do actual FISHING and miss the old grind command that would just award sellables (essentially, coins). So we've implemented this simple command that gives a small amount of multiplied coins and command xp as a new grind command to implement into your flows and daily grinding routines. There will not be any unique items, badges, achievements, or otherwise associated with this. If you are looking for GOOD money from grinding, this command is likely not what you want as it's more of a beginner grind command. The fishing system as fully intended with skills and time spent unlocking tools and baits is much more likely to result in good payouts from your time spent grinding than this simple fishing system.

Avoiding Robbing

Accessibility TLDR: There are multiple items, systems, and settings to use to avoid or minimize your rob losses. If you don't want to be robbed, or if you want to rob but minimize your loss, here is a list of things to look into to try to avoid the loss that comes with being robbed. Completely stop yourself from being robbed, or robbing people: Passive mode Enabled in your settings. Passive will stay active unless you stop running commands for 14 days. It prevents ALL attempts to rob you with 100% accuracy, but has some downsides (such as not being able to affect other players or rob them). Leave rob-enabled servers You can check if rob is enabled in a server by trying to use /rob on a person or a bot. If it's disabled, then it will tell you. You can also search the word "rob" in the server to see if messages come up about robbing people, or check /audit to see a history of setting changes for that server. If the audit command is disabled, it can be a warning sign that the server enables and disables robbing there. If you aren't 100% if a server has it enabled, you can check mutual servers with Dank Memer and leave the ones you can't verify. (I recommend doing this as a worst-case scenario if passive isn't good enough for you) Disable robbing in your own server If you own a server, you can disable robbing within your own server in your server dashboard Reduce the chance, or harm, of being robbed: /use a padlock item This will protect you (at least) 1 time from being robbed, and send a notification when it breaks. It can be broken! /use a landmine item This item gives potential robbers a 50% chance of dying and losing their coins and items when attempting to rob you /use a box of sand or snowball item You target a specific user with this, and they (if it succeeds) will not be able to rob you for a short while. /use a fake id item This hides you from the robber's wishlist that robbers often use to find high-value targets, as long as the item remains active! Keep a healthy pet with high defense & attack stats If your pet is not sleeping, sick, recovering from sickness, or busy... it can protect you from being robbed. The higher the defense stat, the higher the chance your pet will protect you from a robber The higher the attack stat, the higher the chance your pet will KILL the robber while it protects you and cause the robber to lose coins/items Keep all your coins in your bank when possible. Bankrobbing is possible but requires the criminal to have multiple accounts/users helping them to succeed and is harder to do than regular robbing. You can increase bank space by using bank notes or leveling up. Convert your coins to coin vouchers You can use /craft to make a coin voucher, which is an item that has coin value similar to the crafting cost. You will lose a little value this way, but items are NEVER able to be stolen. Store money on an alt that is in no public servers (this is the lame option, but it's not against the rules)
