Pls commands are dead... again
Discord is taking an even further step to kill prefix commands like pls

The discord developer community just heard further confirmation that the great "use slash commands or else" update is happening soon.
pls will (eventually, hopefully not for at least a few more months) no longer work, because discord is removing our ability to do this entirely.
While it's not a GOOD solution, if you truly cannot stand slash commands, we have implemented the ability to run text based commands by mentioning the bot. So pls ping -> @dankmemer ping will still be able to work.
Again, we truly have zero control over this, as Discord has made it clear that bots using prefixed commands (like pls) will lose access to reading messages, which is how they work. This means, for example, breaking all minigames that involve you typing in chat, pls prefix, auto-responses, etc. So if we remove prefixed commands, we can keep auto-responses (maybe), and minigames at least. If we don't remove them, we lose it all.
I will communicate with at least a month's notice of when pls will be removed.
IF you have feedback, you'll have to contact discord. Good things flows are really really good again!
