Welcome to Pixel Progression #17!
Hope you had a great week so far, and I hope this post can improve things slightly for you if not!
Farmers Unite
We're enjoying watching people farm d9 that we released as a surprise 4 days ago! Lets keep that fun going.
Soon there will be another small farming content update adding two more things to farm. This will likely be released in the next month or so.
- Cabbage
- Taro
- Fire Ants
Cabbage and Taro are going to be new farmable plants, and fire ants are going to be another "event" like diamonds, mole men, and worms.
Fight Frames
Last week we talked about fighters getting winning banner frames. We're nearly done with development at this point, and only waiting on more skins to be created before we release it.
You'll, once released, manage your fight frames on our website and it'll look something like the image below.
Fishing Vibes
I'm a huge fan of games that put their music on youtube to vibe to, and while we don't have "music" in our game because it's text based, that doesn't stop us from hiring musicians to make some cool shit!
Vibing While Boss Hunting Playlist
These are 5 original songs we commissioned, the playlist above contains them all!
- On the Golden Sea - A sea shanty about some mates off to hunt bosses.
- Scurvy Waters - Fully concertina song inspired by sea of thieves and Spongebob.
- By the Water - A love song from the viewpoint of a certain NPC.
- Fishing Theme - A Stardew inspired fishing song, made last year to inspire us while making fishing 2.0.
- DYNAMITE - A metal song with only one lyric... Dynamite.
