Welcome to Pixel Progression #19!

I dropped a bunch of art leaks in DMC's offtopic channel yesterday. Can you find them?

Folks this is week 19, and I'm going to be taking 1.5 weeks off from writing these.

Why? Great question! Next week I've got a lot going on that I can't talk about just yet, so it will just be the support section and the pixel progression posts for a very short and sweet post. The week after that I'll be taking some days off so there won't be any post at all, while I rest and recoup from the pushing we're doing right now for multiple large projects.

Our next FULL Pixel Progression will be #21 on May 29th. And we'll have a good chunk of things to catch up with you about, as by then we'll have wrapped on a few projects.

So we wanted to get you fishing multiplayer for the mid-season update. The issue is... Discord is going to be making that difficult as we mis-understood their timelines.

Fishing multiplayer is supposed to be a voice channel activity on Discord, think like the poker night or Youtube together activities. But the issue is, they're not fully released yet (it's in beta) so we CAN'T start developing until it's ready and stable. So we still have not begun development on it yet, and it will need weeks of testing after development.

Unless something changes soon, we'll be looking at a season 4 or later release, which is VERY SAD because I'm excited about this more than anything else right now.

We've talked about our website rewrite a few times now, but one thing coming is a fully formed dashboard for servers. We're only like 4 years late to the trend for bots having this! LOL

We decided to push this up in priority after the key event because we think server events and the server pool would just have a better time being on the website than as commands. Things like multiple rewards for an event, or better filtering for logs, it'll just work better there!

We're going to be starting simple and slowly adding things over time. It'll be fun to use, too!

Bankrobs used to be fun, but they got stale. We're fixing that.

This summer we'll have custom art for bank robs, and add new interactions and outcomes for players. Taking some inspiration from our friends over at rumble, we'll have it not just instantly finish with some text results, but we'll have it go over time to add some dramatic effect while the art edits to show the bank emptying out.

We're thinking of new outcomes past fines/death/nothing/win too, so if you have any ideas on how to make this more fun let us know before we start development soon!

Upcoming Hotfix

Last week's hotfix ended up just being bug fixes and small changes. The overall balance chance is now slated for later as we take the time to add more content as well.
