Update 9.10.7

Sometimes in a live service game, which at this point we are, you need a small patch to shake things up a bit in between large updates. This is that patch, enjoy the notes.

The changes in this are almost all certain to change back to the old values in the rewrite. This is just for some temporary fun while you patiently wait for the rewrite to be finished.

Tax

Everyone (besides patrons xoxo) now has a tax rate of 1%. Doesn't matter what your net worth is.

Vote Rewards

We have now moved back to banknotes as the primary vote reward, as adventure tickets have been out long enough to gather as many as you need. You can get 4 bank notes per vote, or 8 per vote on weekends at top.gg

Fight Balancing

We're unhappy how fight has been, so we've made some tweaks to shake things up. We're open to more suggestions on this for future balance as well.

• Punch
  • Buffed
  • Increased chance to crit by 10%, and possible crit damage increased by 3hp
  • Lowest possible damage is 3hp up from 1hp (not including defense points)
• Kick
  • Balanced
  • Chance to fall down has been changed from 25% to 20%
  • Max damage is now 10-38 down from 15-40
• Defend
  • Nerfed
  • Chance to "crit" and get more defense reduced from 25% to 20%
  • Lowered the minimum you can get from defending by 3hp

Cooldowns

For the following commands, we've lowered the default cooldown by some degree:

• beg, crime, dig, fish, gamble, hunt, postmemes, search, snakeeyes

Robbing Balances

We like robbing, yes we do! We like robbing, now I'll rob you!

• Chance to succeed in robs has been raised by 10%
• Amount able to be stolen is now 75x your current pocket, up from 50x
• Amount able to be stolen from the other users (% of their wallet) has been slightly raised
• Passive mode does not give any negative multiplier anymore. One less reason to avoid being passive.

Using Items

Want your items to last longer? Ok bet.

• The following items had their active time extended by 2x:
  • Alcohol, Ammo, Apple, Bait, Camera, Cupid's Toe, Greenscreen, Headphones, Horseshoe, Landmine, Microphone, Pizza, Ringlight, Robbers Mask, Soundcard, Spinner, Tidepod, Whiskey
• The following items had their functionality slightly altered:
  • Cash now gives more banknotes and more pizza
  • Coinbomb gives more coins out on average
  • Credit card gives 6 days of perks up from 5

Other important changes

• Vacation costs once again GREATLY reduced. Feel free to take a vacation until the rewrite for fairly cheap compared to before :)
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly commands all give more base pay
• All shop limits have been removed
• Most work items have a higher chance to drop now, (yes again)
• Pets should find items faster on average
• Random events had their payouts buffed by 2x-5x
• Adventures can be interacted with every 2 minutes instead of every 5 minutes
• Fixed where trash and junk were still dropping :)
