Due to Discord removing our access (along with nearly all verified bots) to message content in the next few months, we have to remove some key features a lot of you know and love.

Snipe, editsnipe, and autoresponses are all going into the bot graveyard. :(

I know a lot of you rely on sniping for your server, as it's just plain fun. We put together a barebones snipe bot you can host for your own server. You can see the repo and hosting instructions at this link.

Be sure to star the repo and share it with your friends so all servers have the opportunity to get back to sniping after the next update removes it from Dank Memer.

Note: We will NOT be offering support for this bot, but people are welcome to PR changes to it to make it more feature-filled (such as adding edit-snipe, settings, or whatever else people might want). Or you can fork it and make changes privately as well!

We are making this simple bot to help you transition while you find other bots or expand on this functionality yourself, so spending time and resources giving support/help running it isn't something we're interested in.

We will greatly miss sniping when our friend says something stupid with pls snipe, but all things eventually come to an end. RIP.
