This is the last "major" update we'll have likely until April, as we are pushing resources to the rewrite to finish it before Discord's message intent deadline. There will be small things and balance changes, but probably no new "systems" after this update until April.

Adventure Command

This new system is something we are very proud to bring you and is easily expandable with new content in the future.

• pls adventure
  • You can choose an adventure to start, at the cost of an item:adventureticket:
    • You can find these tickets from voting, Patreon packs, or there will be 500 in the shop each hour to pls buy
  • When starting an adventure, you can take some items with you to increase your luck during interactions.
    • The higher value of the item, the more luck you will get with it. You CAN lose these items during the adventure.
  • Some interactions do nothing bad and nothing good. Some have choices you can make that have certain odds to be bad or good.
    • A bad interaction has a chance to eat one of your equipped backpack items or end the adventure entirely
    • A good interaction has a chance to get you a new space-themed collectible item or award coins
  • Rewards are given out at the END of a successful adventure.
    • The adventure ends successfully once you've interacted with the adventure enough
  • There are new space-themed collectible items to find, go find them all! The only one we'll tell you about right now is the item:blackhole:

We will be bringing you adventures with various themes a few times per year, each containing its own unique items and interactions. Wooo!

item:blackhole: Lottery

This is a fun new way to do an item lottery, and we're very excited to see it in action

• The black hole lottery runs once per day, at midnight UTC.
• There will be 10 winners chosen, each splitting the black hole's loot pool among them
• The loot pool comes from the black hole item being in your inventory
  • There is a 5% chance every time you gain an item from grinding, the item will be sucked into the black hole and added to the loot pool
  • This will NOT take items from your inventory, only items earned while grinding.
  • If you want to prevent this, simply don't have a black hole in your inventory!
• To enter to win, all you have to do is have the black hole suck an item of yours for that day's lottery!
  • The odds to win are completely random amongst the victims of the black hole. You don't get more likely to win if you've lost more items than someone else.
• The results of the black hole lottery will be posted in DMC's lottery channel!

Top Command

This is a replacement for the pls rich command, which is now just an alias of this new one. For the sake of clarity we will write these patch notes as if we just simply changed pls rich.

• The command defaults to showing net worth. This is their pocket, inventory, and bank combined.
  • There is no more leaderboard for just pocket like the old pls rich, we feel it's unneeded and takes away usefulness from the item:wishlist:
• The command now only shows the top 25 people, instead of 100
• There are multiple categories you can choose from including but not limited to daily streak rank and amount of trades (go try them all out!)
• You can choose an unlocked badge to show next to your name on the leaderboard with pls top <badge name>
• The new system we use for leaderboards is updated more often and easily. To cache someone (have them show up on the leaderboard if they qualify) they simply need to gain some coins.
  • This also happens to mean that the robber's wishlist will be slightly more accurate and quicker to update
• In the future, we have the ability to add up to 25 leaderboards to this dropdown, so if you want to see a specific leaderboard head to the community page and suggest one under QoL Changes!

Compact Mode

We know embeds can start to feel verbose, especially things like inventory with how many pages of items are possible. So we added this new compact mode!

• To activate compact mode, you can use pls settings compactmode true
• This mode will condense the shop, your inventory, and the new pls top command.
• We love adding new user settings so people can take more control of their experience. Suggest more settings if you have ideas!

  • Now can show bankrobbable users, but you can only choose EITHER bankrob or rob targets while using the item
  • Using the item now consumes it, it's no longer an infinite use item (and this will start being the case for other items in future updates)
• There may or may not be a new pet to find similar to the dragon, kraken, and t-rex quests. Go find out for yourself, it's a harder one!
• Vote rewards were changed to no longer give banknotes, and instead, give an adventure ticket.
  • You also now get double coins and 2 adventure tickets on weekends with top.gg (still one daily box)
• We also recently announced that servers with rob enabled will get some extra perks, but we need a bit more time to prevent this from being abused so it will come in a minor update soon in the next week or two.
