Melmsie
Skins
- Added a new command: command:(skins view)
- Added 95 initial skins, about 70% legacy art and 30% new art
- Skins are a new type of reward, you will be able to find them in most places where items/coins/titles were rewards already.
- Skins are currently implemented for items, pets and farms. More things will have skins in the future.
- If you are checking someones profile/inventory/etc and they have item skins on, you will see their skins, not yours
- Pets maintain their skins when escaping, even if you find a pet with a skin that you don't have (however if you change it, you can't change back to this skin)
- 2 farm skins and 1 item skin are unlocked for everyone by default. The rest will need to be found or earned!
- Fishing pole has a new default skin
- New skins will be released as often as new items are

Pets
- Added pet food functionality
- If you own it, pet will be fed by pet food instead of coins
- When feeding with pet food, it gives 6x more pet xp for that interaction and fills the entire hunger bar in one feeding
We wanted to let pets feel more "real" as you've probably felt in the last few months. This is another step that encourages (without forcing you) to use pet food instead of a mindless coin button.
Settings
- If you use command:(settings) and go to the DM Notifications, you'll notice a new customize button. You can use this to customize WHICH DM notifications you will get from the bot.
Customization is important to our users, and spammy DMs wasn't it chief. Enjoy customizing this and being able to finally leave DM notifs on in peace.
Farm
- Added 4 new corn patterns to be found
- Potatoes and corn give more seeds on harvest now
- Increased diamond and worm spawn rate by 0.2%
- Patterns now require to be exactly placed to spawn crops (no extra fields next to them)
- Added a new item: Elf On The Shelf
- Using it will add an elf to your farm! they will watch the crops grow (for 2 weeks) and notify you about them being ready to harvest!
- This change also added new notification type: farm
Corn was a bit too rare, and adding "exact" pattern spawns will allow us to easily add more plants and spawns in the future. Our next major update will include two new plants with VERY specific spawn patterns!
Badges
- command:(badges) is now command:(badges list)
- Added command:(badges manage) where you can order your badges
- Added back the pre-rewrite option to set which badge is displayed in leaderboards (in command:(badges manage) )
- Updated the 2022 badge description
- Reminder: You will get this badge by running a command in the last day of 2022
Managing badges will become more important in future updates where we introduce badge tiers. Plus we know at least a few users are annoyed at the orientation of their badges on their profile so this will ease their pains!
Market Inspect
- This feature is only available to patrons, not credit card users!
- Added new button to command:(item) command: market inspect
- When clicked, it renders a graph of the past 500 / past week of completed offers for this item
- Graphs update every 6 hours
This is going to only be a patron feature for the foreseeable future. Our patrons took a vote in DMC for if they wanted some features more restricted to people paying or people paying AND credit card users and it was 134-164. There's merit to both sides and we'll start doing a bit more for paying users than defaulting EVERYTHING to also credit cards. We see you patrons, thank you!
Adventure
- Added new adventure: Pepe's Winter Wonderland!
- Available till January 7th, 2023
- Cooldown is 2 minutes instead of 3 like regular adventures
- Rewards from this adventure include skins, holiday items, and more!
- Added a limited time adventure pet: Krampus
This adventure goes well past the holidays to give everyone a little extra time to get the loot or skins that they might be aiming to unlock. Happy holidays from the team!
Developer Item
- Added the item: Zomb's Zombee
- This item can be found in developer boxes or in Zomb's grave search location
- Zomb has been our staff writer for a hot minute now, and has written a ton of tutorials for users to read! If you've read a new one in the last 2 months it's probably been hers! The holiday adventure was completely written by her as well!
Golden Coins
- Added a new item: Golden Coins
- This item is not transferable in any way, it is just a reward for dank memer server staff for their service
- The higher the staff "position", the more the staff member gets when redeeming their rewards. So the users with the highest amounts are likely earning staff of the month!
- This item does not count to any collector stats, so not owning it will never prevent you from getting 100% items
- Asking when we're opening staff applications will disqualify you from being considered in future apps. Yes, we actually check this. Check DMC announcements periodically to find out when apps are next open.
We're always looking for more ways to recognize the hard work our server staff puts in to helping keep DMC and the support server running smoothly. Being a small business, we can't afford to pay an extra 25-50 salaries. That said, we can add small fun stuff like this specifically for them!
Christmas
- Added 2 new items: Menorah and Christmas Gift
- Menorah is a collectible with no usage, Christmas gift is a pack item
- Added 2 new holiday search locations
- Added holiday themed rewards to hunt, dig, and fish
- Added the ability to craft christmas trees and snowballs
- Added some holiday themed rewards to vote levels and the main vote reward
- Those who are max vote level possible right now will miss the first holiday themed rewards, but it's nothing you can't earn elsewhere in the bot easily for the next week or two. We can't just cater to ONLY people with perfect records.
It's a bit of a wildcard year of how many christmas items will exist after the holiday event is over. We threw things in a lot of places that are easy to get! Enjoy the holidays, whether you're collecting, investing, or somewhere in between!
Drops
- Drops embed is now paginated (all future drops are now fully shown)
- This embed also includes a refresh button now (if you have the command:(advancements upgrades) for it)
The refresh button will be a game changer on big drops. Highly recommend buying that upgrade, it's an investment at this point!
QoL
- Added "reply" button to text notifications
- Flow's ephemeral message is now deleted when you press continue
- Added "Show Server/Global Leaderboard" button to leaderboards' commands
- Cooldown embed now uses discord timestamps so you can see cooldown going down live assuming Discord's client is working correctly
- Reduced price for profile customization from 75m coins to 25m coins
- Reduced price for net worth sorting from 5m coins to 2m coins

Misc
- The message telling you weekend double xp is starting is now ephemeral
- Blob pets are 24x less hungry now
- Developer and alpha tester badges were redesigned
- Changed potato art to be a bit less sussy by default, the old sussy one is a skin to unlock now
- Removed all deprecated commands (/buy, /sell, /table etc)
- Removed greentext command for repeated NSFW instances occurring
- Being hidden in leaderboards now censors your name instead of removing it completely to avoid constant support questions about "incorrect placements" 🙃
- Item rarities are now updated dynamically based on their existing quantities in the bot. You can see an item's rarity at the footer of command:(item)
- Not normally obtainable badges no longer count in collector profile stats
- Added chocolate cake to the shop, and removed horseshoe
- Fixed a funny flow bug where other user's names would show up on tips
- Fixed a ton of other bugs
