Gambling removal
As we've discussed in the past, Discord is punishing bots that have gambling systems. Read more about what we're doing here: dankmemer.lol/community/blog/gambling-removal
We plan to remove gambling commands with our next big update at the end of next week.
We've made some changes as a pre-removal "event" of sorts:
Badge Requirements
- Slots: 12k -> 4k
- Gamble: 20k -> 5k
- Snakeeyes: 20k -> 5k
- BJ: 20k -> 5k
- Scratch: 20k -> 5k
Those of you chasing these and being at least 25% done will find this to be great for completion. If you're close after this, it's your last chance to get these badges. The badges WILL stay in the bot after the commands are removed.
Blackjack
- All users regardless of badge can use both tables now
- Max and min bets for both tables has been expanded to be wider
Snakeeyes
- Single eye pays out 1.5 instead of 1.2
Gamble
- Much less rigged towards the bot (still rigged though lol)
Scratch
- Buffed payouts by a large margin
Slots
- Buffed payouts by a large margin AND can bet up to 5k at once now
These buffs push some of these into being fairly profitable for most users, enjoy it before the commands are gone next week! Go crazy!
Cooldowns:
- Beg, hunt, fish, dig, postmemes all had their cooldowns reduced by 5 seconds for regular and patron usage
- Postmemes penalty timer: 5m -> 3m
Trivia
- Trivia now gives more coins slightly
- Trivia now gives a new item (trivia trophy) when you get an answer correct, and that item is not transferable in any way. Go try it out!
Misc
- Post memes badge: 8k -> 2k
- Server lifeblood badge: 10b -> 25b
- Slightly reduced the chance of death in some holiday adventure encounters
- Raised Krampus odds by 5% (10% now)
