Melmsie
Global Boosts
- At last, a long-requested feature is here, one person can buy the entire userbase a chunky coin or xp boost for 30 minutes.
- In the gem shop you'll find global xp and coin boosts to purchase
- When purchasing, you will be asked to set a custom message that will be shown in the /multipliers command to anyone who checks it during your time slot.
- Custom messages filter out "bad words" and links, similar to global giveaway messages
- If there is already an existing boost active, yours will be queued in line
- At the start of your boost, you will get a notification that it's live
- At the end of your boost, you will get a notification that tells you how many people saw your custom message in the multiplier command
- For now we are only doing these in 30 minute increments. If there is a demand for higher, we will consider it.
Achievements
- Raised the requirement on the "Generous Friend" achievement
- Added 7 new achievements, varying in difficulty
- Deprecated the 666 daily streak achievement
- Deprecated "get all achievements" and replaced with a new one, so users who had it can get the new and improved rewards in the new "all achievements" achievement
- Deprecated in this case means, if you obtained these two achievements, they will show up for you to flex with. Otherwise, they're gone.
Quests
- Added farming speed and crafting speed boosts as possible rewards
- Added 6 new quests to possibly show up. 5 daily and 1 weekly.
Multipliers
- Not long ago, we increased the coin multi cap to 1000% to let people have something to strive for. Well, we half fixed the issue but it really just moved the goalposts for everyone, not just players looking to flex/have something truly achieved.
- Reduced/removed multiple multipliers that were easy to get or easy to break the rules to get (example: sharing multi)
- Increased (heavily) the daily streak multi at higher daily streaks
- Removed the multiplier for buying loot boxes on the old storefronts, this is no longer something we've been doing on our new store front and a free 20% on TOP of the purchase that wasn't advertised isn't what we want.
New Item
- Melmsie's Banana - obtained from completing all achievements
- Can be used (is consumed) and will personally DM melmsie that you ate their banana
- So you can either one time consequence free annoy Melmsie, or have an expensive rare item. Your choice.
Server Changes
- Server events threshold is now 50 members instead of 250
- Now only the server owner can change the following server settings:
- Rob/Bankrob
- Event Manager role
Misc
- Pizza was reduced to being 10m long
- Cheese now takes up to 50 to get max multi, which is now 1.5x
- As these types of items become more and more common, we'll have to keep nerfing them because it's getting easier and easier for ALL players to have an insane multi.
- Can now remove your own market posts via button when using /market view
- Rotating shop items now have a special icon to let you know which slots can rotate
- Re-arranged the gem shop
- Improved multiple embeds
- Finished raffles now show how many entries there were
- Numerous fixes to the web store to improve things for mobile users, as well as prevent confusion at checkout
