MelmsieRules Update
- dankmemer.lol/rules
- Clarified some wording on rules: 5, 7, 8, 11, and 12
- Added rule 13: "External Bots and Services"
- Essentially clarifies that services/bots that scrape our website or discord data, bypass premium systems, or provide unfair advantages are against our rules both to develop and use as a player.
- This is now in place as multiple bots have been caught mis-using our data, and the data of our players, so we are cracking down in an effort to prevent bad actors.
- This includes Dank Alert, Dank Mate, and similar bots
- There is a carve-out for services that get our (easily given) permission to use an upcoming (free) api later this year.
- This rule will start being enforced on September 1st, 2026.
