Patreon to Website Transition

This tutorial explains moving your Patreon subscription to the Dank Memer website membership. There are two ways to do it: a slow and smart way, which involves waiting for your Patreon pledge to expire, and a fast and impatient way, which allows you to move over immediately. The tutorial also explains the perks you'll receive for moving over, including an exclusive title and gems. You cannot have two subscriptions simultaneously, so if you move over with an active Patreon subscription you will lose any remaining perks from that subscription.

The slow and smart way
If you want to get the MOST out of your Patreon perks before moving over, this is the section for you.
Step 1 - Cancel your patron pledge and in the exit survey mention "switching to website"
Step 2 - Wait until your existing pledge has expired. For most of you, this will be the 1st of the next month after canceling. You can see this date if you saw when your next Patreon charge was supposed to come through. If you paid annually... you may be waiting a long time.
Step 3 - Wait a few more days after the expiration date until Dank Memer realizes you stopped paying and removes your bot perks.
Step 4 - Head over to dankmemer.lol/store to sign up for a new subscription and enjoy your new perks. Thanks for your support!
The fast and impatient way
If you just want to move over as fast as possible and don't want a lapse in your perks, this is how you'll do it.
Step 1 - Cancel your patron pledge and in the exit survey mention "switching to website"
Step 2 - Head over to dankmemer.lol/store and read the notice it gives you.
Step 3 - ⚠️ READ THE SECTION BELOW BEFORE CONTINUING ⚠️
Step 4 - You can only have one subscription at a time, and you will NOT get any of the benefits from Patreon once you switch to the website. If you switch, you'll have to agree that you are okay with giving up the other perks without a refund.
Step 5 - If you are alright with not receiving any of the former perks or a refund, click the checkbox to confirm and follow through with purchasing the new subscription.
Step 6 - Enjoy your new premium perks!
What do I get when I move my subscription over to the website?
This is a good question to ask before moving over at all! The website has a more reliable connection to Discord, so you shouldn't have to deal with relinking your account whenever your payment renews like you sometimes do with Patreon.
